Khan and Bane vs Captain America...

The suggestion is that its not a great feat as normal humans have survived ship crashes...

My point is that Khans was exceptional; the ship was malfunctioning and as far as we could see, Khan didnt strap himself into a seat or take any safety precautions during the crash...

He tanked it with raw durability...

I don't know, I'd focus on his feats that unquestionably show his toughness, eg taking Spock's nerve-pinch and multiple stun-blast from a phaser, both of which we know normal humans can't just shrug off like he did

The ship crash, a normal human could have survived that, since we have examples of it happening.

Scotty doesn't use the restroom, he transports the turds right out of his colon

So because he didn't strap in on screen he didn't strap in? You realize without strapping in, the impact would have turned him into a projectile and whatever he hit would have Khan jelly all over it?

We don't see them take shits on screen but that doesn't mean nobody uses the bathroom.

Thats the point; Khan didnt strap in, fully tanked the impact, and was not reduced to jelly...

1) We see him at the controls insuring that the ship hit Star Fleet...
2) We see him after the crash, inside the ship getting to his feet..not exiting a safety device.
3) The ship appeared to have no shielding during its descent or impact, so as far as we can see, nothing lessened the impact...

Add all of that up and this is a phenomenal feat for Khan...

Show me an example of a normal human surviving a crash the way Khan did...

No problem:

YouTube video

You'll notice the crew members being tossed around, some several feet up in the air as the ship crashes into hillsides and digs its nose into the earth, ie no seatbelts either

Here's Khan's crash:

YouTube video

Should be noted that Khan first crashed the Vengeance into water, before it started sliding into buildings.

Thanks for proving my point that the crashes were different and so are not comparable...

👆

Data did everything he could to lessen the impact; Khan was trying to destroy Star Fleet and tried to make his impact as brutal as possible..

Big difference ...

Edit: it kinda looks like Data's ship had working shields as it begins its descent...Khan's ship did not.

LoL, come on. dude. Sure they're not identical, one crashed onto land and slide into hills and such, the other crashed into water and then slide into buildings, both digging their noses into the ground towards the end. But they're not all that different either to the forces the people inside would be subjected to. That's the point.

Both pretty much had no control once they hit land/water, momentum did it's thing.

Shields didn't help the people inside from being thrown about(inertial dampers must have failed). Khan also seemingly braced himself, seems to imply that when we see him at least.

Answer truthfully please: Do you really think that if the Vengeance was full of normal people like the Enterprise was, everyone on board would have died from that crash into the SF Bay and Starfleet?

Again, not sure why you focus on this questionable feat when there's actual feats unquestionably showing his superhuman resilience.

He is more than likely just trolling, quan is probably his hero.

Yes, I absolutely believe that if there was any normal human on the ship that Khan crashed, they would have been killed immediately...

The reason why I focus so intently on this feat is because I feel this is Khan's best feat by a mile...

I have a good understanding of physics and I know precisely the level of kinetic energy involved with an object the mass of a star ship traveling at orbital velocities...its enormous; we are talking kinetic energy beyond what was seen at Hiroshima and Nagasaki...

Do the math: a mass of around 4.5 million metric tons traveling at around 20,000 mph!???

And not only did Khan survive that impact, but was still in fighting shape!!

Thats an amazing feat of durability...

Just stating facts; you are the one trolling...

I'm just being objective...

How do you know the Vengeance weighs that much? It's the 25th century iirc, and they've got tons of new age materials. Why do you think it was moving at 20,000mph when it slowed down vastly from re-entry, and then air friction, and then even further as the engines were so damaged all Khan could manage was to aim at Star Fleet HQ. As Rob pointed out, he didn't even hit his target. He nosedived in the water(which further slowed him down) and then slid into the city.

As if I'm not your hero too.

Dude, do yourself a favor and discontinue the conversation; you have no knowledge of physics and demonstrated this several pages back...

Furthermore you've demonstrated a lack of knowledge in this thread as well as others...

Btw, get your facts straight in the future if you are going to debate; this post of yours I've quoted is so error filled that it borders on gross trolling...

You dont know what you are talking about...at all...save yourself from further embarrassment and just quietly vanish.

Sure. I know nothing.

Yet you're the one throwing out numbers because you "know good physics".

You said Khan/Kirk were moving 15,000-20,000mph through space because their was no friction, etc, etc...

So how was the Vengeance moving that exact same top speed after being crippled in space, going through re-entry, losing most if not all engine power, and crashing into the ocean? Oh, and it was in the atmosphere so friction, drag, etc...

He usually says that too. You two must share a brain.

You seem very upset. Let it go. Listen to your hero--Quan.
