Not only does she apparently not receive any real punishment, she ALSO receives nothing for statutory rape either, since this was an 18 yr. old you slept with several teens, some that were 13-15 yrs. old. As far as I am concerned any woman who lies about rape should get the same prison sentence that a true rapist would get. Yet so many have been able to lie without any real consequences. Heck in the Rolling Stone case I don't even think they released the real name of whichever woman lied. It's that pesky war on women rearing it's ugly head. Which really isn't shocking considering the lower rate of white inmates in prisons, making them more vulnerable to attack.
The worst thing is society as a whole is responsible for this. We just..we treat them better. We don't hold them as accountable when they mess up and we tend to usually believe them over the word of a man. Hell a friend of mine got arrested for fighting his gf. Even though she is the one who escalated it into a physical attack..when he finally lashed out at her because she wouldn't stop..he like hit her in the lung or something so she had trouble breathing temporarily. So yeah, he went to jail because someone attacked him and he fought back.
I mean there are rare examples in which the guy doesn't get in trouble. This girl I went to grammar school with..when she was in her 20's I guess she was really abusive to her boyfriend and he put up with it for a long time. One day she hit him and he hit her back in the face HARD. She had to have facial reconstructive surgery. He didn't get arrested and guess what? She never laid a hand on him again.
I don't agree with wife beating, but I will admit if I was dating a woman and she struck me I would punch her full force. Just once though, assuming she only hit me once. This idea women can hit a man consequence free has to go the way of the dodo. It's actually irrelevant if the hit caused me any pain or not..it's the principle of the thing.
You might say it's wrong to hit full force because I'm physically stronger, but you see it is for that exact reason that I shouldn't of been hit in the first place. It's the same reason I don't go up to a bear and kick it in the balls.

This is awful and shows a failure of the justice system, not a rape culture. But wait..it gets better, the kids dad who is a f*cking moron wrote a letter saying "my kids life is ruined over 20 minutes of action" and people take this creepy dad's letter and scream "rape culture" as if this one man represents the entire country.
