Haha, oh you buffoon. He wasn't subconsciously holding back and Blake wasn't his subconsciousness. He had obtained a fear of killing after he killed his grandfather and thus started pulling his punches knowing the fear.

That's a temporary development and Thor got over the fear in the same issue. Its no different than any other hero holding back due to fear of killing. Spider-man is a famous example of that.

Let me repeat. It was evident that in that scene, he was subconsciously holding back. He had thrown Mjolnir at "full force" which did absolute nothing as per the scan

It is then later clarified that he was unable to actually use Mjolnir properly for fear of killing due to his recent encounter with Bor. He was not aware of this until he had pseudo internal monolgue via Blake. Even my scan you reposted shows this clearly. Well at least clearly for people who don't constantly misinterpret stories. Lol...
