The section Dark Lords of the Sith from Official Fact File #1 states that Exar Kun is the most powerful of all the Sith Lords. As in the ancient Sith Lords the article refers to, which includes Ulic Qel-Droma, Freedon Nadd and Naga Sadow.

No, that makes sense. That must be why it says "of all sith lords in this article" instead of the insane blanket statement of just "of all sith lords". Myth busted!

But what is that distinction exactly? If its just that Maul isn't a Dark Lord of the Sith, uh duh, no-one in that category is even being considered as the most powerful. The quote would still extend over Sidious.

If I explain the term 'context', are you going to understand? The section is about ancient Sith Lords and describes how they were linked to each other. It's not an astrophysics piece. 😬

I love how they impose all these restrictions on Sidious' accolades but defend their precious one Kun accolade to the last breath.

They can't. They can't stand the notion of Sidious being more powerful than their favorites.

I reckon Exar is great and all but he has one brief quote about him being the greatest. Sidious was said to be most powerful multiple times in multiple sources.

Who cares how many entries state so and so is the most powerful. It's as if you can't think for yourselves and would rather case all debating and just email some big wig over at Disney. Lemming talk. Debate based off their portrays, abilities, feats, and what is in character. This is so damn simple and easy to figure out very much like Nai's fanboyism for Star Wars.
