Pretty much everything about Luke's character is stupid in TLJ. Out of character. And stupid.

You don't get it DDM. They HAD to make Luke completely and utterly evil. It's the only way it could have worked to be honest.

They're mostly famous for old racist cartoon films, but I think this an attempt to broaden their horizon. Paired with recently purchased rights to classic literature, look forward to the upcoming Star adventures of Lukle Sky and Finn as they ride the mighty Kessel Run on a Falcon with N*gger Han.

This is correct. He's defying evil to its face and that no matter what, he will not betray his friends and betray righteousness. He will stand up as a paragon and not cave to the Emperor's vile and evil ways.

Had meaning. had weight. Was effective. Showed his character. And his final resolve. He overcame the temptation of the dark side completely and totally.

You're supposed to be disappointed in Luke though. That's the point of the story.

Eh, true. Vader making the ultimate choice was what made the RoTJ climax anyway.

Yeah, hilarious to only get into the top 10 movies of all time instead of top 5. What a humiliation.

TFA had so many things going for it that it would have been a miracle to get anywhere near it.
