I don't give a shit. Those scores are based off of a tiny percentage of those who actually watched the film. Furthermore, TLJ has significantly more reviews than JL does on imdb and RT and pissed off fanboys are more likely to reviewbomb stuff than those who liked it.
TLJ is far more well liked than critics. Anyone who watches the two movies would probably conclude that TLJ is the better made film, and if they still put it under JL its most likely for personal expectations.

It isn't. In several ways its superior. TFA is more consistent and took less risks but as a movie both are excellent in approximately a similar capacity.
Fan expectation is the reason for much of the backlash, this is true. The film merely being "decent" is not, however.
