Also, it's weird as f*ck that the first suicidal lightspeed attack occurred in the 9th movie...

Indeed, it makes you wonder if she wasn't doing some deathsticks when she came up with this plan.

Joseph Gordon Levitt wrote an essay defending Last Jedi lol

Lol, someone edited out all the women in this film. This article is just dripping with self righteousness about it.

Some Dummy Edited All the Women Out of The Last Jedi, and the Cast Isn't Having It

The triggerdom is funny, but this line caught my eye:

"Because, of course, everyone wants to watch a version of The Last Jedi without Carrie Fisher's General Leia Organa using the Force (only boys are allowed do that!) or Laura Dern's prissy Admiral Holdo saving the Resistance like some kind of silly girl. Right? "

Lol, how is Holdo not retarded? Her plan was awful, the plan the people who mutinied against it was far superior. You could have mad libbed a better plan than Holdo had.

Yeah, there's practically no defending Holdo (far as I'm concerned at least), but the "Last Jedi: De-Feminized Fanedit" still sheds a pathetic light on how far some fans are willing to go.

I actually agree, it is sad they did this. But damn was Holdo retarded though.

It saddens me that Han is dead, the actress who plays Leia is dead. It has been confirmed Leia will not appear in the next movie. We won't ever see Luke, Han, and Leia together again. Never. A missed opportunity.

I have not prob watching women die in combat situations. Especially when they are craptastic characters like HoDough.

FFS, they had their trilogy.

😂

I know. Someone needs to tell him to rewatch the original trilogy and the newer one wasn't about them it was about passing the torch.

I can't stand incompetent people, no matter their gender.

Out of curiosity exactly what would be the worst case of the FO winning for the galaxy look like aside from the resistance being wiped out? I know both the Empire are First Order are supposed to be evil space Nazis but I don't think that the new trilogy, or the OT for that matter, do much in showing the plight of the people ruled under the Empire or upcoming First Order...aside from threat of blowing up planets that came up rather recently.

Just asking what others thinks as both Rogue One and the dumb casino sub-plot of this film don't paint the Rebellion or Republic in a really good eye IMO.

You've been standing yourself for a long time now 😄

That said, I loved Holdo's character

Holdo has a lot in common with Corky from "Life Goes On". All except the excuse for being retarded, that is.

Holdo is a grey character that is initially presented to the hero as a villain. The character does a good job flipping the audiences perspective to realize that the hero they were rooting for was wrong and that the person they thought was a villain is actually the hero.

It's also another statement against the reckless hero trope in movies.

I would love for people to at least understand what the filmmaker is going for before criticizing it.

The guy that can't hold a job and lives under his brothers thumb. You're a massive loser. She saved them you idiot. You're a joke of a person.

She's just incompetent though lol. Hero or villain doesn't enter into it.

How is she incompetent ? Quit repeating yourself like an idiot. It's apparent you have no idea and want to repeat yourself like a certain Donald J.

Last Jedi surpassed the dark knight in domestic box office. **** yeah. Such a better film than the Dark Knight.

Star Wars>>>>>>>>>>>>>Batman

^ TDK was 10 years ago, in 2d only and Universally loved with no hate at all. What the hell is wrong with you?

According to THR, The Last Jedi’s $6.6 million take on 2,456 screens pushed the film’s stateside tally to $604.3 million. Having already passed writer-director Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight, which earned $534.8 million in in its domestic run in 2008, The Last Jedi remains in sixth place on the all-time list of highest-grossing films domestically, about $19 million shy of Marvel’s The Avengers, which earned $623.3 millio

Read it off SCREENRANT. Don't be upset, kid. It's a far better movie than that overrated film the Dark Knight.
