it did the service of putting his power into perspective. that plus his handling of rey. but that shit should have been established in ep7. that holograph scene of him mopping the floor with hux's face from across the galaxy should have been done in act one. just something/anything besides his empty wizard of oz routine.

It is Snoke’s generic looking room, unfortunately. Even the set pieces for his lair were rushed and uninspired.

However, through his hate and will to survive, Maul used the Force to grab an air vent as he was tumbling down the reactor shaft. He then managed to make it to a trash container. Maul's shattered body was dumped on the junkyard world of Lotho Minor.
