900 would still be massive. Wb will definitely bring wan back for more.

Speaking of that I just read an article with Wan saying he's hasn't been contracted for a sequel.

Gotta love WB.

Considering Spider-Man has yet to cross 900 yes that would be good for Aquaman…...Yea I said Aquaman.

Sounds weird saying that out loud.

If AM does 900, that's more than Thor, most Cap movies, SM, GOTG, etc... if you were to tell me AM china numbers earlier this year, I would have laughed.

900 million is happening with a good chance at 1 billion.

Thats insane tbh.

Shows the massive potential DC always had for films.

Sitting in the theater and its filling fast.

Planning to watch both this and Into the Spider Verse tomorrow.

'Aquaman' Sails Toward Huge $250 Million Global Box Office

Warner Bros.' blockbuster Aquaman continues to unite audiences across the seven seas this weekend, as its record-breaking run in China fuels an overall international box office cume expected to hit $250+/- million this weekend. Ticket sales in the Middle Kingdom should send the King of Atlantis north of $185-190+ million there, on its way toward a likely tally of $250+ million in China alone, suggesting a foreign cume exceeding $600-700+ million (if not higher).

With the Christmas holiday season upon us, Aquaman should enjoy strong legs to carry it through the rest of the month and into the New Year. We'll see what sort of numbers James Wan's eye-popping action-adventure extravaganza puts up this coming week and into its domestic opening, and whether those figures are big enough to confirm my suspicion that we're looking at a $1 billion holiday hit that's one of the season's biggest performers.

I think this may be the best DCEU movie yet.

Wasnt as bad as I thought it would be but it wasnt great. 6/10
Kinda overly cheesy at times.

Best DCEU film so far a visual masterpiece.

The visuals were amazing.

Orm was the standout to me.

Gotta see it on IMAX then.

The movie was fun an the visuals are great too for the set pieces.

It might have been just me looking for stuff but

Spoiler:
I thought it was funny how the movie gives an unspoken explanation for why Aquaman's armor color was muted in JL with King Attlan's trident

Bright colors and enthusiasm are something DC has been lacking for a while save for Wonder Woman imo.

Thats great for WBs pockets. But is it actually any good is the question?

Pretty much the worst outcome is the film being dogshit but making a shitload of money. It tells WB that they can continue to peddle garbage while still making money.

Seems the GA likes it. That's why China's hold is really good.
