Apparently me saying it was a decent movie is somehow proof that I'm biased against DC. Their logic could best be described as dizzying.

I actually liked Aquaman more than Golgo did. He thought it was pretty much shit besides Dafoe and Kidman's characters. I thought it was average but not shit, and I'm the biased one because I'm not making hundreds of celebbratory posts everytime the box office numbers rise.

If you don't think the word that DC finally made a decent movie played a part in at least some people watching it, then you're lying to yourself. That is the whole point of WOM. to convince people to see a movie they might not have gone to on their own.

You sound confused. WOM for a tarnished brand to reach a Billion is MUCH MORE difficult than for a strong brand. Just look at Bumblebee struggling despite being massively superior to the to the previous Transformer films.
Clearly audiences dont really see DC one way or the other yet. Perhaps audiences dont really know or get what DC is yet.
