DC isn't a name most people recognize? ok, if saying that helps you sleep at night.

Why would I need help sleeping over that?

Clearly youre the one losing sleep over this being a massive success.

I also have to ask. Was there more then one cut scene in the credits? Cause I saw the "First One" and then that Large Size Movie Soda made the desciion that it was TIME TO GO!

I gotta see this movie again.

This thing might finish around 1.1 billion. Close to 400 domestic with its holds. Holy crap.

In China, #Aquaman is now the #5 Hollywood movie of all-time and the #2 superhero film ever at the #boxoffice. Total now stands at $275.5M thru #NewYearsDay TUE ranking behind only Fast8, Fast7, #AvengersInfinityWar & #Transformers 4 among all foreign films there. May pass $300M.

Good movie. Deserves to make a Bill.

I would imagine more people just see it as another superhero movie than an actual DC movie, but that's me.

Only one that I know of.

For the people who liked this film, why?

Not even trying to hate, genuinely curious.

The visuals, world building and action are some of the best in any comic film. The story was simple and straight forward and the characters were well done IMO.

They went all out on visuals, which is why it did gangbusters in China.

Cliche story and script with mediocre acting at best.

No compelling villain.

I guess I just expected more; was bored after the first 10-15 minutes.

The design and characters of Atlantis was one of the better parts, IMO.

The timing for giving away Subnautica on Epic couldn't be better, if the movie studio bought the rights themselves to hype an aquatic based movie.
