No, the text is not clear because none of that actually applies today. Like at all. Hence the lack of context. Thanks for proving my point.
Okay admittedly if that stuff is true it is kinda f*cked up. Especially the "If a Jew murders someone they aren't responsible".
But..pretty much all religions were utter horror shows in the past. Christians for the most part are all lovey dovey now, but in the past they were at times more brutal than any modern day groups.
The question when it comes to religion is..has it evolved with the times? Yes, both Jewish people and Christians have evolved in certain beliefs. The religions that refuse to really change tend to be the ones most incompatible with western culture.
