Do you even understand the events in the novel?

Lord Scourge was accustomed to drawing strength from his opponents to fuel his own. When he raided a factory and encountered droids, his talent backfired on him and significantly weakened him because he could not draw strength from the droids. He learned a lesson from that experience and addressed it.

Yeah, I don't know where people get this impression that Scourge is Meetra's peer from. He was basically useless during the Nyriss fight even though Surik was incredibly hindered and on a dark side nexus.

Not sure if AP agrees with this, but Scourge is pretty trash in the Revan novel. As in, sub-Sirak level.

What? He nudged Nyriss with a Force push which caused Nyriss' blow to go off the mark, when he attempted to charge her down, she slammed him with telekinesis so hard he went head over heels and was out for the rest of the battle.

He got floored twice with ease, a far cry from how Meetra performed, despite the environment being completely in Scourge's favor.

I am not asserting that Lord Scourge performed very well during this confrontation. My point is that his involvement was beneficial to Meetra Surik when she was cornered and vulnerable.

Another point is that the blast of power Lord Scourge unleashed on Darth Nyriss, was potent enough to overwhelm an ordinary foe. This implies that he was 'above-average' himself.

Well, with all the arguing about who's more powerful, I'm curious - what exactly is Vitiate's victory condition here? Is he going to overpower Plagueis with telekinesis, or Lightning, or mentally dominate him?

Eventually, he'd do so. It would be a good fight though. Sorcery is another factor.

I'd imagine fights between powerful force users are just endurance games with each opponent trying to find a chink in their opponent's defenses.
