Yeah I was thinking the same thing. It's strange that the excuse of "Well the person who reported him (may) have been a native speaker" is seen as in itself an explanation when we don't really know what words he was saying that was threatening. If it actually was just God Willing and a passive reference to ISIS then that's a bit much to remove someone for.

I find it a little troubling how none of the articles that have been posted mention what phrase exactly got the guy kicked off the plane. Right now I'm getting the impression that the offending phrase was "inshallah"(God willing) and kicking someone off a plane for saying that is ridiculous.
This is incorrect, he said he was kicked off for saying inshallah. That does not mean its true. How do you know he didn't actually say something suspicious? Also, is the Muslim woman who reported him a biggot?
