Next up from the titster’s tiny mind:

‘Riv...is old!’

‘Riv...wears glasses!’

‘Riv...is black!’

Titster, you really dont have much to say, about this movie, and certainly not about me.

Well, nobodys seen the movie so your right, I dont have much to say about it. I'm sure it'll uphold WB/DC's usual standard of quality.

Your old, blind, and black? Who knew?

Stilt!

OR, its set in a reality where DC is a comics company, and those are characters he happens to like.

It's would be such a waste to set it someplace other than the DCEU at this point (you hearing me, solo Joker movie makers?)

For several decades DC comics was owned by a single Hollywood studio, and they failed to capitalize on live action crossovers until Marvel and their studio shot far past them. They may never catch Marvel, but going backwards to the old days can't be an option.

WB will have their another label for Elseworld stories/movies and if they're good, that could place them over Marvel. Some of DC's better stories are Elseworlds.

No, Marvel is snowing them under in sheer quantity of movies. Plus all their movies have been rated fresh on RT, been considered good to super awesome by the fans, and only one was a break even affair (The Incredible Hulk in 2008) - everything else has been a big hit to among the top grossing moves ever.

I don't think so, the Time magazine cover along with the Daily Planet headline kill that notion.

Incredible Hulk bombed. It didn't even make double of it's budget. And I'm not talking currently, I'm talking about once WB's new label of Elseworld movies come up. They could fail in terms of box office, but succeed commercially.

I think I'd give the edge in TV when it comes to variety. DC/WB has a handful of Vertigo projects that are very good (I Zombie and Preacher, with Y the Last Man down the road). DC isn't just the main super hero universe, and if WB explores all it's possibilities, that could possibly one up MU.

Not in our lifetime, Golgo.

Have faith, stiltsy.

I have faith.

In Marvel.
