Theyve nailed the tone and the character here (by the looks of it). The only thing to complain about is that it looks cheap, but it had a very small budget, and if it makes bank they can improve on that for the sequel.

Who would've thought making fun movies was going to make people want to watch them!!!?

I think i liked aquaman more, but this movie was still really fun

You can tell they spent more on Aquaman but I think Shazam was better. Though the visuals weren't that bad.

Sequels will have a bigger budget especially when Adam enters the picture.

Aquaman had one of the best CGI in comic movie history....

Good start for SHAZAM. Also, 7.9 on metacritic.

Not bad though I don't see Shazam beating Aquaman opening weekend. He's even less known that Aquaman.

It's not about being well known anymore. GOTG is not as well known as Aquaman, and they did 800 ww. People just want fresh takes on characters.

I agree to an extent but Guardians had the Marvel tag on it and that helps it a lot. I don't think DC is there as of yet but they seem to be gaining ground on Marvel movie wise.

The CGI in Aquaman was good and it had a decent story to carry it, Unlike alot of other movies that have gone overboard on the CGI and forget about the story and character's.

looks like lightning will strike twice for dc.

Saw Shazam. It was funny at times. When it was gud it's gud, but when it was bad it was bad. The CG designs.... Ughhhh...
Still fun overall. I think I preferred Momoaman.
