i think bill maher makes many dead-on points but can also be a smug intolerant kunt at times. i have yet to hear anyone, left right or center, suggest that we should go to war with russia.
now if you want a good example of many democrats being psychopathic hypocritical fear-driven war hawks, I'd refer to post 9/11. from 01-04, specifically. that's a great example if you wanna leave the strawman be and get logical.

I still don't consider it a strawman. It was a valid example of my point and it's not as if I made it out to represent the opinion of the majority of Democrats.

Greg Gianforte's assault charge puts Republicans in a lose-lose situation in Montana
Greg Gianforte's choke-slam of reporter Ben Jacobs on Wednesday night -- and the ensuing assault charge -- might not cost him a victory in today's Montana special election. But even if Gianforte wins, Republicans will face a major decision on whether or not to seat him.
What's beyond debate is that, according to Jacobs and multiple eyewitnesses, Gianforte grabbed the reporter by the throat and threw him to the ground -- screaming "sick and tired of you guys... get the hell out of here."
While Gianforte's campaign put out a statement -- ludicrous on its face -- blaming Jacobs for his "aggressive" reporting tactics, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office decided that the evidence was clear, charging the Montana Republican nominee with misdemeanor assault.

The guy could face up to 6 months in jail.
He's probably going to win, too. He may have to serve jail time while serving in the house of representatives.
If he can't handle one microphone in his face and a softball question about the cbo score from a single reporter, how is he going to handle 30 microphones in his face and hardball questions?
