Ridiculous argument. The only 'reality-bending' going on here is how you're twisting a feat which is admittedly weird and inexplicable and saying "Ta-dah! Because Popeye is strong, he must be bending reality with his super punching-power". When in fact all we see is a pretty stupid b/w cartoon cheese feat. Hulk has dozens and dozens of on-page examples of punching-power feats that are all worthy of an all-star mention.
I don 't even really like Hulk. But I like even less the trendy 'toon-veneration' that goes on on KMC.

Aren't ALL of Hulk's feats achieved by strength, despite logic dictating otherwise?
How does he grab energy? He's super angry, so he can.
How does he punch time?
How does he resist teleportation?
Transmutation?
All done by strength.
Reality is just another barrier that is cracked by Popeye's strength.
