Sorry... It was just way too tempting.

It's not this one: '

Huh. It's still really bizarre that a friggin' punctuation mark can break the quote function.

Though this site's lack of proper admin for how long now probably doesn't help with stuff like this.

This is really bizarre. I knew about David Miscavige, but I didn't know his dad was also member who claims to have had to "escape" from Scientology. And the story he tells about the guy spying on him with all that ammo and guns? It's...true lol. It turns out to be true. So this is disturbing. Police reports back up that much at least.

Damn. And then David Miscavige tells people he hired to observe his dad who think he is having a heart attack to let him die.

Oh yeah Sargon did a full interview with the dad who escaped scientology

YouTube video

it was an interesting video with a very ****ed up and disturbing story.

I can't imagine how he feels because is the one who introduced his kid into that cult in the first place.

Kind of reminds me of an article from a while back that supposedly detailed some of Tom Cruise's batshit antics involving Scientology. Some of the stories were admittedly hilarious, but some were really messed up if they were actually true. Like supposedly banishing his niece to a Scientology centre for 2 years, where she was limited to only phone contact with her own mother, because of apparently kissing a boy while on his property.

What do you guys think? Is this proof that our government gives no shits about us or what.

In my experience, a lot of politicians don't seem to really give a shit about the people. They all talk a good game, but many just care about pushing their own agendas. And this tends to be par for the course across the world, so I doubt the US is really any different. It's definitely no different where I am from. Large parts of the population are suffering with poverty, and one of the first things our new president does is give himself a raise, even though he already has a personal net worth of about $450 million.

Agreed.

About you’re President. How much money is enough? I mean damn! Give me a quarter of a mil, and I’ll be set for life.

And where are you from?

UM, that bill is batshit insane. Promoting democracy development in Europe..over 200 million.

Lol. Is Rand Paul trolling us? Why would we need to promote democracy in Europe?

@SquallX

Cuz quote broke again.

I'm South African. And the thing is I don't care about the $450 million itself. I mean he made that through business deals and such before stepping into office, so that's his to do with as he pleases. But when someone already has that much money in a country that is facing serious financial trouble (we're getting a rating review today, and if we get downgraded again here, RSA is basically full on economic junk status), he has no business giving himself a 25% salary increase before he's even done anything else.

So we are legit giving money to "promote democracy" to the same place that just found a dude guilty for teaching his dog a nazi salute.

Lol.

Not according to the Scottish Legal system apparently.

Thanks Leftist Progressive Fascists.

‘White Engineers’ joke following National Society for Black Engineers email lands prof in hot water

"After receiving a mass email last week from the campus chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers promoting a fundraiser dinner, the station reported that Skormin hammered out the following response: “Please let me know about a dinner of the National Society for White Engineers.”

LOL! This triggered snowflakes.

“I was very surprised that it was an actual professor in the department who said it,” student Austin Ward told WBNG.

Student Gregory Wint added to the station that he was “saddened” by Skormin’s remark: “He’s the teacher. I think on some things he needs to be taught.”

Damn, now that guy is triggered lol. I know there is more to the video than it just being an angry rant, but still, he really went for it.

Yeah, but I think there are some things in life worth getting triggered over. Mere hurt feelings? No. Someone getting convicted for a joke? Yes.

Though it is also hilarious at the end when he mimes being a "nazi f*cking the von trapps" LMAO.

Lol...

That dreadful moment when you realize nope...it's NOT an Onion article.
