They're not political commentators though, they're a community of people affected by a particular hardship speaking from experiences rooted in their truth. They're just kids voicing their perspectives and that should be listened to without judgement.

Many of these kids are actual victims btw and still getting attacked and demonized by politicians, thay's not right

So, just because they were in the area of a shooting, we should ignore the fact that they're ignorant on the topic of guns?

^^look out it's the master pettifogger

Why should respect be had when that person uses that bad thing that happened to push an agenda?
Why do you assume that it's an agenda? What agenda does a scared kid have? Even if you disagree with what the kids are saying, you need to admit that not everything in the world is a conspiracy against your point of view.

LOL, then what is it? Ignorance? Do you truly believe these kids think it is harder to make plans with friends for the weekend than it is to buy a rifle?

Either they are very very very ignorant or they do not mind being used to spout bullshit. Either scenario is no good.

the kids are alright, broflakes.

What do you think their motivations are other than to stop school shootings? If you hear them say something that's wrong, fine call it wrong. But attacking the kids and generalizing them as agenda-pushers or lefties is tearing the country even further apart. Instead of making these kids your enemy, have conversations and learn from them or teach them. What happened to decency?

Physically, yes I guess they are alright.

basically they're saying "you have no right to be a leader in a cause which directly impacted your life".

history will ignore these goons and so should everyone. 👆

LOL what happened to decency? These shitheads are saying anyone who disagrees with them are child killers.

The "decent" thing to do wouldn't be to let these kids on national television to spout lies. You say if they say something wrong "correct them". Lol, f*ck off with that. If they some shit wrong in front of millions of people...what does it matter if some dude on a message board points out they are wrong?

Actually, what I'm saying is experiencing a school shooter doesn't make your opinion count for shit. Facts matter, that is what counts.

Someone who has been in a school shooting has no more knowledge about guns than someone who has not.

That's not right either. That's equally wrong to what you're doing.

You're not the only dude though. Actual Republican congressman are personally attacking these kids. Once Republican called a kid a shaved-head lesbian or something like that. How the fucck are you gonna defend that?

Okay calling her a lesbo is wrong, they should just stick to pointing out the plethora of things they are uninformed about.

There you go. You can point out "the plethora of things they are uninformed about" while still respecting their tragedy and their protest

I like how you put quote marks around the plethora of things they are uninformed about. it's almost like you're implying that them being wrong about things is just Surtur's opinion.

But it is irrelevant if I point it out. The people whose shows they are on should point it out.

So if you're on CNN and you hear a kid spout bullshit, you don't just stare and nod like a good little cultist.

He nods like a Big Cultist.

He does not have any.

Wow, you could not be demonstrably more wrong. Someone who has experienced gun violence has an entire set of knowledge about guns that someone who has not does not.
