Twitter apparently has un-shadow banned a bunch of folk.

I have this game called Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. It's from 1999.

Apparently Clancy did a commentary for the dvd of "The Sum of All Fears" and he just rips it to shreds lol.

The number of left people who think that is the same as the number of white people who hated Black Panther, grow the **** up Surt seriously.
For instance there's the criticism of a society as advanced as Wakanda fighting with spears, selecting their leader through ritualistic combat, to criticism of Killmonger's backstory and motivations not being developed enough (not a criticism I agree with), to criticism of other shit that seemed too over the top and absurd (like everyone in Wakanda calling Bilbo "colonizer" or the Jabari tribe hooting at Bilbo like a bunch of apes), to criticism of T'challa's love interest having little significance to the plot or character development, to people who found the humor cringey, to people that are just jaded by the overpoliticization of this movie.
I myself actually enjoyed it and thought it was a good movie. I liked some of the ways in which they tied certain traditions into their technology (such as the tribal gesture that opens the shield, or the charm necklace that contains the suit, etc.), I thought it was well scored and had some good stylistic choices (such as the camera angle flipping over as Killmonger took the throne to symbolize a shift in power, or the way Killmonger's black American accent was incredibly jarring to hear next to the more traditional African accent juxtaposed by how little he actually cares for their traditions). I also really liked Killmonger's portrayal, I thought his actor did a great job giving off a certain vibe and acting out the characters emotions and motivations. And the movie had a surprisingly woke theme with T'challa calling Killmonger out on how he had become just like the people he was claiming to oppose. Ultimately I thought T'challa was well situated to call him out on that from a position of understanding and maturity considering his arc in Civil War was about him turning away from vengeance.
But yeah it can be criticized for other reasons than "|=uck n!ggerz!!!"

I'm given to understand that it's a bit sketchier to do that to someone like Roland in Dark Tower though considering that him being white had plot significance, or someone like Bond who through various iterations is typecast to a certain extent.

New ‘Jack Ryan’ series blasted for pushing ‘masculine American heroism,’ ‘white male entitlement’Why does the left hate America? They claim they don't, but they seem to despise anything that truly celebrates America.
I haven't watched the show yet (I probably will at some point because I liked 24 and it seems to be more of that kind of thing). But generally, I find fiction that is meant to celebrate America to be pretty boring. It's not because I am anti-America, it is because it offers little to think about or wrestle with, usually it has very little depth to it. Doesn't mean I can't find these things to be mindless fun, just that I'd prefer if there was more going on. Just a matter of preference, really. I like darker or murkier things if we're going to venture into themes like terrorism or war or espionage.
And to follow up.
I'm all on board with Idris Elba playing Bond. I think he'd be outstanding.
Also as far as Black Panther goes, I enjoyed the movie and thought Killmonger was one of the best villains to grace the MCU, but I would have preferred a bit more emphasis on him instead of Klaue. There was a big portion of the film where Killmonger is just MIA. Missed opportunity, imo.
All In the Family is pretty triggering.
I can't look at the opening theme without seeing open contempt for suburbia.
Which I guess it IS. And even people who live in the suburbs talk down about it, but stilll.... The show is being shot by people who probably grew up in New York, since that's your typical "Hollywood writer". The audience is going to be the people you're making fun of, hence "contempt for your audience".

Elba is an outstanding actor, but he should not play Bond. Flemming vision of Bond was that of a white male, and that shouldn’t change just to promote some PC bullshit. If we want to see Elba as a spy so much, write him a good spy triller.
On that same note, would it be okay if a white Actor had played Black Panther?

Bond's skin color isn't pivotal to the character's back story, main thing is that he's British; Brits can be Black.T'Challa being Black African is pivotal to the character's backstory.
And everyone Ian took inspiration from in the creation of Bond were white man. With Ian’s own brother being one of the main ones.
There’s also white Africans.
In the end, if it’s wrong to change Black Panther from black to white is wrong, then the same applies to Bond. Pretty sure if Ian were still alive today, he most likely have refused to turn Bond Black.
Here’s one. What if Stan Lee, one of the creator of Panther decides to erase Panther origin and make him white, would you except it?
