Lol.
Kind of weird when those guys wanted to white knight her because she's getting upset over the cognitive dissonance she's experiencing.
Some people live in echo chambers for so long and exist unchallenged for so long, intellectually that it can be overwhelming when exposed to new ideas that are strongly opposed to their world views. It is getting harder and harder to find these types of people, for sure. The internet makes it difficult to be abjectly ignorant like this. But there are still people out there who seem to navigate the knowledge landscape, unhindered.
Also, that guy has low emotional intelligence. He did not adjust or adapt his communication approach to fit the person. Had he spoken to her with much more calmness, slow down his speech, and put emotion in his words, he would have seen much more success with her and perhaps even changed a mind. He did a bit of that by pointing out where they agreed but he rather failed miserably.
Someone who is mildly autistic may watch this video and not see a problem at all. Someone who is just decently emotionally intelligent would see why his communication approach completely failed to connect.
It's not being manipulative to do this. It's part of basic human communication and most people learn how to do this as children.
I suspect this youtuber is mildly autistic. If not, he's an *sshole who just does not give a shit about others and just wants to make money and get views.
