For examples:
Nazi glorification. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has a heel turned face nazi character who aids the main character with his awesome German science. And he's pretty damned admirable as a person too, sacrificing himself for his subordinates/allies.
Blade of the Immortal features the main character, Manji, running around with a giant swastika on his back.
Blatant sexism, groping, sexual assault.
Racism. Blacks have rythem naturally, Mexicans have innate ability to throw jabs.
Just some examples of things that are routinely censored in other media. Video games, for example, saw Freedom Force vs The Third Reich turning swastika's into crosses.
So why doesn't anime/manga get a targeted by the censors, the same way everything else does?
Edit: That's not to say it never gets censored. One word: Smoking.
Smoking gets censored out all the time. As does booze.
That's why some of the other stuff confuses me. Something like making a Nazi champion is one of the most triggering things I can think of, for obvious reasons. That isn't a problem, but smoking is.

Funny thing is..it's human nature to wanna give a friend the benefit of the doubt more than you would a stranger.
