Just witnessed truejedi's true colors - likes to talk about liberal values but when asked to actually deliver, personally, on those liberal values, magically, it's not a topic they can or will talk about. This is extremely typical. In fact, I have never seen a liberal actually answer this question with a "yes, I'd foster one illegal immigrant family in my place of residence to support this cause."
It's because, as I have been saying for ages, they are racist but pretend to be righteous.
It's wonderful liberal ideas because like all fantasy liberal ideas, it's an idea that's great because they assume it will be someone's else's problem. Their money, their home, their resources. But when it becomes personal, magically, those liberal values go out the window!
This is like me asking you: "how mant months of your life will you give up to personally go down and build a wall?" If you arent willing to pause your life for 6 months to go personally pour concrete and dig post holes you are just a hypocritical conservative who wants to talk about a wall without building one."
Yes, I would be willing to pay more in taxes to a government that could actually get on the morally correct side of an issue for once. You deflecting the issue into me personally needing to adopt immigrants doesn't make your "keep them all out " stance less morally reprehensible.
Republicans surrendered any possible moral high ground when they elected "im pro torture" Trump.

No it's not. Because I don't want to build the stupid-ass wall. I made a thread about how stupid and wasteful that piece of shit wall idea is.
Okay, so now that I've fundamentally destroyed your talking point, have anything else? Come back to the table, please, with a better talking point. 🙂

I legit laughed out loud. But I shouldn't because truejedi is probably trolling and pretending to be a stupid liberal. A strawman of liberals, if you will. That's what I suspect.

I just answered that. If you truly want to build a wall, why aren't you down there doing it? I can only assume you don't really care enough.
Thats stupid and unintelligent reasoning, but it's exactly what you are doing. Grow up a little- treat people like people and not algorithims. What's the point of your repeated question? It's like arguing with a teenager. Either two viewpoints can converse or they cannot, but changing the subject and deflecting from the actual subject matter is pointless.

Ok, and When did I say I would host a family in transition? That was your idea, not mine. So my post was even more accurately like yours-- saddling you with my own idea of what you wanted to do.

You can't answer a simple question if you would host a family while they were in transition. So you resort to insults and going bananas.

So let's go ahead and destroy this talking point of yours.
Building the wall requires skilled-labor. This is an appropriate use of taxes. Don't have volunteers build the walls. Use taxes to pay skilled laborers to do that. However, that's a shitty idea. I don't want a wall. Also, there is an extensive network of people who volunteer their time to watch border security live camera feeds and they report illegals trying to cross. Yes, a massive amount of people, volunteering their time, to secure the border. Are you shocked? Are you shitting yourself that they are not hypocrites and are already securing the border, voluntarily?
If he goes to the southern border to build the wall, he loses his real job. He needs to keep that job to pay for his ability to live.
Therefore, your talking point is very stupid.
However, if you want illegal immigrants in the US, you should volunteer to host them in your home. It will cost much less than the border wall. Because you will share resources in a community that you've established in your own dwelling. A communal system of food, housing, and resources. A micro-communistic system. 🙂
But you refuse. And, instead, talk about using your taxes to host them. So you want your taxes to build houses to host the immigrants? Sounds like a concentration and segregation camp, to me.
My communistic friend, you're racist. You also seem like a Nazi.

You want them here so you should be the first to host them in your dwelling. 🙂
Come on, start hosting illegal immigrant families. 🙂
Are you legit? Are are you a liberal strawman? It's difficult to tell if you're serious or just trolling libtards with shitty talking points. You seem more like a caricature than a legitimate liberal.

Ok, since that is your favorite question: 3 I guess. How about you? (Prepares to be called a liar, because you didnt really want me to answer that question, you wanted to deflect from the morality of the issue.)
Once you prove that you've taken in 3, I'll open up my house as well.

Same here, I will open my house up for a family of 3 as well as soon as you do.

I think immigration would expand our economy. More people, more demand, more businesses to meet those demands, more jobs, more collected income tax.
SO basically load up poor people with debt and give them a minimum wage job to clean up our trash? Sounds like you just want to import a serf population.

Honestly, if that was the national program, i would do that. Maybe a tax credit in return? Seems like it would be easier to directly convert tax dollars into public housing-- at the same time we would be helping our existing homelessness problem. (Which is also a better thing to spend money on than on a wall. )
Still, not my house-- so i don't know how my landlord would deal woth it. i am looking for a house right now- with extra bedrooms, i planned to use as guest rooms, but if we ended up as a nation that was accepting all refugees and making a national drive to get everyone off the streets, I could see using the extra apartment to house people. it would be an awesome national goal... Kinda like eradicating smallpox. You want to mak america great again, set a few great goals.
