The problem is we have companies paying below minimum as it is.

Under the table/undocumented for example.

Keep things legal and local, companies would have no choice but to take the loss. You can only automate so much, and wages won't really affect their decision to automate where they can.

Yeah, basically. It isn't Bernie's fault that companies are allowed to hire people for substandard wages. And you would have to think he'd want to bring in legislation making sure that companies could no longer **** people over like that.

Tim Pool sure reports the big stories... Coronavirus, Wall Street crash... hell no, let's create division by creating folk devils and moral panic within your fanbase as click bait to coin it in. Way to go Timmy.

He's made multiple videos about the virus. Not sure if he has made videos about wall street, but he has tweeted about it numerous times to his nearly half a million followers.

But I like how Tim Pool reporting on crazed alt lefties trying to throw firebombs is the thing creating division. It surely isn't the alt leftists throwing the firebombs creating divisions.

Well to be clear, Tim Pool made a name for himself covering the Occupy Wall Street and then did coverage of conflict zones abroad working for vice I believe also.

And now he does this... kching!

Cry more, wittle crybaby loser.

Sargon of Akaad used to do really interesting history videos. It didn't make him any money relative to his political so-called "culture war" stuff.

I imagine it's much the same for many YouTubers on all sides.

When it comes to reporting on Mexico not everyone can be an Ed Calderon or Ioan Grillo.

Pool was smart enough to realize there was more money to be made attacking "Der Left" and confirmation-bias-feeding the Far/Alt-Right what they want to hear.

There's a far larger pool of these types of people for him to tap into 🙂

Lol I love how Tim Pool gets inside your guys heads. For the audacity of being on the left while not cucking to them.

So good.

Nother pretend win you say? That's a good boy.

i had no problem with gilettes political men can be better commercial. They already delivered an above top notch product. Their razors work great and i could care less how the spend their free time and money.

Nissan on the other hand should maybe spend a little more time on developing a transmission for their cars that isn't a complete and total piece of shit, that can last more than a 100k miles before blowing, before sinking time and money into something like this.

Speaking of cars IMO all new cars should be forced to install those breathalizer things so u cant start the car unless u pass it. I know they give them to people with multiple DUI's.

lol, out of nowhere.

And I thought Nissan's were reliable?

nope. Maximas and Altimas have had one of the worst track records for transmissions for about 2 decades. If u get 1, make sure u put aside between 3-4 grand for the inevitable tranny job ur gonna need in a few years.

Do wonder what percentage of Nissan cars have Nissan built transmissions and how many are outsource from transmission companies.

I do know Nissan has had issues with their CVT transmissions (I don't know it they're in-house or outsourced), I suspect this has something to do with the trend of never servicing the transmission/changing transmission fluid.

Many manufacturers for the last 10+ years note "lifetime fluid" and/or "no service interval" and that's simply just bullshit. 100K+ miles of stress, heat and cooling cycles is going to break down any fluid.

The likely reason for this, most of these not serviced transmissions can last over 100K miles and by the time they fail, they're out of warranty, so the owner gets fisted with the repair. And that sir is actual triggering news/topic for once.

Tranny job? Man, that's not what I thought a tranny job was. I'm learning so many new things.

More seriously, I went and looked up some stuff on it. I think you're onto something. Their CVTs seem to have higher than acceptable failure rates:

https://www.autonews.com/automakers-suppliers/transmission-troubles-add-nissans-woes

https://carfromjapan.com/article/car-maintenance/how-long-do-cvt-transmissions-last/

That second article mentions that Honda's have the longest lasting CVTs which is good. I was considering getting a Honda Accord do drive long distances.
