Nah bro, we aren't playing that game.Toss out some names.
Actually wait no. Not before you say whether you're gullible enough to believe the folk they've labeled alt right are alt right, are you? Is that why you're asking? Toss me a name you feel they have said is alt right that I disagreed with where you feel I'm wrong.
Proud Boys and Gavin McInnes' group?
I thought Gavin McInnes was suing SPLC for calling the Proud Boys a hate group?
https://www.cnn.com/2019/02/05/us/proud-boys-splc-lawsuit-trnd/index.html
But even in that article, the Proud Boys deny this:
The Proud Boys describe themselves as "Western chauvinists who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world." The group's site argues its allure stems from the fact that young American men and women are "finished" with "apology culture" but disavows links to the alt-right or to white supremacists.
So, actually, I don't know who is alt-right.
Also, interestingly enough, looks like the SPLC is losing their cases on their hate group labels:
Other groups have mounted lawsuits against the SPLC in recent years, claiming the organization's hate group list painted with too broad a brush.Last June, counter-extremism think tank Quilliam received a $3.37 million settlement and an apology from SPLC after the watchdog group admitted it erroneously included the group and its founder Maajid Nawaz in a publication about anti-Muslim extremists.
I know, CNN. But I can assume this is one of the 2/3 of the stories they do that are factual.
