By 'weird' I meant 'hard to define' (which I think is clear enough in the context of the post). Alt-right isn't weird in that context as you can define it.

ok you have clarified you position.

...without you clarifying why you thought he had the position in the first place?

Or should we just ignore that and list people who actually have that position? That's how we do right, ignore our failings to prove stuff by demanding others list people who do hold the position? 🙂

the wording of his post. 🙂

like copy and paste the wording you felt signified it, the specific phrase or sentence

That's good. I dislike Spencer in all of his incarnations. I make a point of being active on Twitter so that I can aggregate the current views held by those I consider either dangerous to society or damaging to general discourse.

Could be true, but either way it's actually not on me to list who is actually alt right. It's on the morons who call people alt right to prove it.

Jaden has probably asked them to do so in the past and I just missed it. Probably. I doubt he'd ignore their claims just to hone in on me for challenging them.

You're doing your "everyone's out to get me" schtick again.

All I'm asking if for you to define what alt right is (at least to you seeing as different people seem to have different opinions on what even constitutes alt right)so I can tell you who, in my opinion, has expressed those views.

Nah, I'm pointing out how you behave.

But hey then explain to me: why instead of simply asking them to prove who they say is alt right...is alt right, did you instead ask me to start listing those who actually belongs to it?

Cuz I mean, I didn't reject thousands of claims here. Just a few, not nearly enough for anyone to be truly sad enough to believe I think there is nobody on the alt right. And if you have no idea whether or not they are alt right...again, why not ask them to prove it? Why is it my job to prove their definition is wrong, and not theirs to prove it is right?

This could just go around and around so here's a basic definition of "alt-right" from Wikipedia:

"The alt-right, an abbreviation of alternative right, is a loosely connected far-right, white nationalist movement based in the United States. A largely online phenomenon, the alt-right originated in the U.S. during the 2010s, although it has since established a presence in various other countries. The term is ill-defined, having been used in different ways by various self-described "alt-rightists", media commentators, and academics. Groups which have been identified as alt-right also espouse white supremacism, white separatism, severe immigration restrictions, racism, xenophobia, antisemitism, antifeminism, homophobia, and islamophobia."

Tommy Robinson, Milo, Katie Price, Alex Jones and Laura Loomer tick many of those boxes.

I just figure it'd be easier to ask them to prove who they say is alt right is actually alt right, why try to come at me? But then I know why, yet he gas lights.

The anti feminism is something JP propagates tbh.

Many boxes ticked methinks.

we all should be anti-feminism, or at least anti- third wave feminism

It's a bit difficult to prove a definition right or wrong when no one's even explained what their definition is.

And that seems to be the problem.

The way the alt right has been portrayed in the left leaning media is no different than the far right. (Primarily about ethnic nationalism)

And yet you never bothered to ask those making the claims what their definition was, but you sure did ask me to call out names and define it, etc.

But hey, coincidence surely 🙂

Agreed.

👆

Milo identifies as a second wave feminist. As do I. But I think it would be more appropriate to call me an egalitarian because I'd like to distance myself from the feminist label because all labels matter.

The core part of the alt-right identity is white nationalism. That is an essential part of being alt-right by definition and one cannot be alt-right without it.

So are we going with the definition scribble has provided?

If so then does a person need to proscribe to all those attributes to be considered alt right?

Is 1 enough to define them as alt right or at least expressing some alt right opinions?
