Violence at Neo Nazi protest.

I'm not against people using the word to descibe a person who actually qualifies, I just don't think it should be THE label for them without proof that they fit the bill. And I don't think it should be held against people who don't use the term to describe something that happened in more of a "heat of the moment" type situation.

And as far as I know, the whole "white supremacy" thing isn't inherently based on inspiring fear and terror. There are sects of it that are against violence and such and simply want to be isolated from minorities. Keep in mind, that's simply something that I've seen on TV so it's entirely possible that the sects don't actually exist outside the realm of fiction, but I've been under that impression for quite a while.

Lol...seriously?

Personally, I think everyones a little bit racist.

If you have to qualify discrimination as "punching up" or "punching down", you're not really looking for a better world at all. You're just trying to win a pissing contest against some other *******..

Just saw the footage of the incident... ****ing awful. I hope that the person that did it is punished to the full extent of the law.

Agreed, though I'm hoping for life w/o parole, rather than the death penalty. As I want his suffering to last as long as possible.

I'd like an American History X moment and some Trumpers to start speaking out against Trump and other Alt right figures who propagated this far right narrative of hate. We need to stop the hate!

Yout post makes ZERO sense

This isnt a party issue Surtur. Its deeper than that. Its anti-police, its fear or islam, its fear of gays, its intolerance, its extreme feminism, its dumb ass people who point the finger and refuse to look in the mirror.

I listened to two idiots (whites) say we should bomb tf out of Korea to teach those *racial term* a lesson. Neither of these guys served and one just got out of prison. When i asked if theyd go to war they said no, they arent robots.

My neighbor (a black guy) constantly berates the spanish guys in my neighborhood whom he claims are stealing all our jobs. I asked him did he wanted to cut grass he said F no, hes an IT specialist.

This androgynous non binary transgendered white woman and this lesbian gender neutral obese asian woman who i work with recently told me all men should die. I asked y because men are evil and women should breed with themselves.

These two alt right mexican american guys who are in the army that i shoot pool with from time to time said ALL BLM members are terrorists and should go back to Africa if they dont like it here.

Stuff like this permeates this country. On every level. The reality is that we as Americans are a bunch of intolerant uneducated douchebags who CONSTANTLY deflect and finger point.

Now you hang out with quite the colorful crowd. I'm almost envious.

Sin's friend has his stereotypes mixed up: It's Indians who are stealing his jobs. 😉

TBF though, "White Supremacy" in of itself is fear/terror based, so we should probably just call anyone who worships this idelogy a terrorist. Again, youre free to not do so.
you start with a faulty premise, and arrive at a faulty conclusion. how surprising.

Lol no, it's a party issue. Are dipshit Dems trying to blame Trump? Whining over his tweets? Oh shit, they are? Okay then.

And just so we are clear, your personal anecdotes are 100% irrelevant.

I'd prefer some leftists grow some balls and admit both sides were at fault for committing violence.

But no, you'll whine about one side, ignore the other. It's the leftist cuck way.

I won't deny that Trump emboldens these guys, but you've got to remember that when he began his presidency the country had just had 8 years where the other side felt emboldened to push the "all white people are evil" narrative. So much so that the country was shocked by Trump being elected because so many of his supporters were afraid to admit tell the people running polls who they were voting for. A person who feels that they are now able to voice their legally protected opinions is certainly going to feeler bolder when he/she does so. And when we allow that, the extreme and unstable within the group are going to do bad things. It happened with Obama, and now it's happening with Trump.

He doesn't just embolden them, he almost empowers them. A majority showed up wearing white polos and khakis trying to emulate Trump, I shit you not, including the driver. They had an organized dress code to make them come off as more normal looking. Trump has even removed alt-right extremists from terrorist watch lists in February.

Oh please stop. Sure a bunch of extreme leftist people went too far with affirmative action but there was a hardly an all white people are evil theme going on. Were white people under more of a microscope? Sure, but TBH they need to be. There are some deeply troubling cultures ingrained into many institutions and it will take a few decades to shift them out. Racism was just a great deal more concealed. And yes, some of it wasn't handled well with unfair or affirmative hiring practices etc. but how in the holy **** does that justify joining a Nazi march. There's a shit load of middle ground between being frustrated as being labeled a racist for being a white male and joining a Nazi group.

Dude, you don't live in America right? You can't. Not if you think there hasn't been a "whites are evil" theme going on in some groups.

The white guilt is so bad you had whites apologizing for slavery(recently). Hey Rage, have you apologized for shit your ancestors did over a century ago?

It's weird to see people who didn't commit the atrocity apologize to people who didn't experience the atrocity.

Oh and white racism was blamed for Trump winning.

Question: If someone's actions(In this case Trump) make it more likely that groups like these Neo-Nazis will act out. are you saying people(Trump) should stop acting like they are?

And I still wonder if they are going to blame the Scalise shooting on the rhetoric of the Democrats then. Who flat out said Republicans are going to kill millions with their health care deal. Not to mention the comparison of Trump to brutal dictators.

If Trump has emboldened these folk, no doubt the left emboldened the shooter, and he had a list of even more people he was gonna kill.

Except the other problem is David Duke lashed out at Trump lol. Some of the white supremacists are pissed off, but people are still complaining. It's weird when David Duke is offended and others are still going "be less vague" and accusing him of coddling the other side.

It's already happening. My parents both support Trump, and are both republicans. And for the last year they took issue with the idea that Nazis were on the rise in America. They thought it was hyperbole and exaggeration, but yesterday it became clear to them that it is a legitimate problem in this country that must be addressed. They were both shocked to see such a large rally with so many blatant Nazis and KKK members, walking around holding Nazi flags having swastika tattoos. And then the act of terror. They also both thought Trump should have gone further to denounce Neo Nazis specifically. They still support Trump, obviously, but at the very least more people than ever before know now that the nazis and other white supremacist groups have been emboldened and are more confident and comfortable in this country than they've been in a long time.
