😂abhi, the entire orion feat scenario is a what if. you seem to want to believe orion and the golem collided, (like hulk and betty) or smashed fists or their blasts met and sent off these shockwaves or something. MAYBE that happened.
The above is alot more likely to have occurred than the following.

or maybe the golem smashed a planet when he tried to hit orion, resulting in the destruction of the planet. the destruction of a planet could easily send out shockwaves powerful enough to wipe out another planet that is close enough, in a sort of chain reaction. or maybe they smashed worlds individually as the fight progressed through the solar system.
The planets were perfectly aligned and all blew up one at a time? so a special circumstance that never got mentioned in the comic or by the writer. If it was a chain reaction, then Kyle would never have said what he said. it would have been hey, we better not face the big bad golem because the planets are aligned. LOL see how ridi...

fact is--we don't know. not sure why that is so hard for you or anyone to understand. and resorting to real world physics? c'mon, h1....
....culous this chain reaction scenario is? c'mon, alber....

the writer wanted us to see that two very powerful entities were battling. mission accomplished. cool feat. why it needs to be made more, i have no idea.
What Hal and Kyle weren't powerful enough? Its cool feat, why lowball it? i have no idea.

and there's nothing disingenuous when i'm the one admitting to you that i have no idea HOW the fight went down, what circumstances and events led to these shockwaves. hell, maybe orion was the one who one-shot a planet and contributed to the solar system being destroyed that way.i'm telling you i don't know because we didn't see it. claiming anything otherwise with certainty? THAT is being disingenuous.
Thanks for admitting that you don't know 👆 but your narrative of this event is trollberto level at best. Destroying a planet and causing a chain reaction? 😂 was that ever mentioned? If this was the case, why would kyle try to prevent orion from facing the golem? With your scenario, wouldn't he have checked the planetary alignment first? oh hey orion let me check if the planets are a safe distance away from each other before you go face the golem again. 😂
You mentioned that the writer wanted to show a battle between 2 powerful entities, Kyle and Hal vs the Golem doesn't count?
Kyle didn't want Orion to face the Golem because the power unleashed by both Orion and the golem would destroy another system. But it was ok for the lanterns to face him instead. That proves that the Golem was not fully responsible for generating the power responsible for the solar system's destruction.
