I honestly don't understand why they fired him in the first place (though, admittedly, I just heard rumors, not actual tweets or any more info from the media).

It seems to me people are getting "woke" to the far right poison and how pervasive it has become.

I think Guardians 3 would have been good regardless but having Gunn back will get the same tone of the first 2.

On another topic when Gunn got fired the ONLY actor to stand up for Gunn was Batista, the others just played sheep. Mad respect to Batista for having the balls to stand up to Disney.

^ Nah all the main actors signed a letter condemning his firing.

But obviously the rest were no where near as outspoken as Batista. But they had more to lose than him as well.

Signing a letter isn't the same as being vocal.

I'm not knocking his loyalty, but Batista does more seem like a dude who just has fun doing this(acting). So yeah, the same stuff wasn't at stake for him as it was for the others.

If you suspect it was some master plan... then it'd be a terribly flawed one, seeing how he got hired by DC for SS2.
