You sir are DOOMED

I'm guessing Spider Man noir style costume is given to him by Nick Fury.

Great to see Spider Man will be wearing same costume with webs under his arms that was the same costume he wore in his 1st appearance.

Villain spoilers in that link. Honestly, I don't even know why I clicked on it. I figured/hoped there wouldn't be any surprises and my hype clicked the link.

Spoiler:
Anyway, the elementals in this film are (kind of) confirmed to be Molten Man and Hydro-Man. It's still possible that they're Mysterio's illusions (Hydro-Man at the very least anyway), but at least now we know they're meant to be the the MCU versions of the villains. I actually really hope they're not illusions since that'd mean we probably won't ever get the actual characters.

Spoiler:
It would be dumb to introduce these villains with their powers with no backstory or anything.
Like a guy that can control and turn into water just appearing out of nowhere. Same with Molten man, and whomever else.
Especially in the MCU where they try to explain how these people can have these powers and abilities.

That's assuming there's no backstory. Pete's enlisted by Fury so maybe they'll go the 'failed SHIELD experiment route'. And even if they don't give origins, we never got one for Thor or Spidey, and Black Panther just appeared with no explanation to his abilities. Widow and Hawkeye never got any kind of set up, and Thanos existed long before we got an info dump on the character. Same with any of the Sorcerers in Doctor Strange other than Strange (like Kaecilius) or Dormammu. Plenty of characters have just been explained through info dumps.

In reality though, They'll probably just be illusions. Also, you may want to spoiler tag that man. It doesn't really bother me now but idk about others.

New trailer actually looks pretty good. And explains a lot more of the setting post Endgame:

"The snap tore a hole in our dimension..." Interesting way to start bringing the greater multiverse into mainstream continuity. 👆

Also, there are technically no infinity stones in the prime universe/timeline, right? I expect that to eventually cause some serious 'issues' as well, given the Ancient One's explanation of their importance to cosmology as a whole. /shrug

Mysterio is supposed to be a failed magician, not some guy from an alternative universe who is now a good guy

He will obviously be a villain lol

Knowing Mysterio though I’d be skeptical of anything he says, but taking what he said at face value indicates a greater ability for the MCU to transition the Xmen, FF, potential Sony properties, and Defenders/Namor into the MCU. It’s funny I’d have imagined that they’d have to go through some convoluted explanation, but as others have explained they literally just explained it all in one film. Maybe those giant creatures are from the same dimension he is? It’s really interesting

The Russos said that

Spoiler:
they still exist, they were just smashed in to like, a million pieces.

$20 says Mysterio will be a “fake super” like Syndrome in The Incredibles.
