The thing I’m wondering the most is if the Elementals are an actual threat or just some weird illusion by Mysterio. Also I’d be surprised and genuinely impressed if they toon the route of Mysterio being heroic. It’d be a twist and a risk I don’t see the MCU or Disney actually doing. Sometimes I’d wish they get super creative with their villains and deviate a way for the comics (as long as it’s done well). Even if he’s just a villain he should be done well if Jahns review was any indication.
just got home from seeing this.. T'was good, much better than Homecoming.. Not as good as Infinity War or Endgame but IMO a lot has to happen in order for me to say some film is better than IW or Endgame..
The story for FFH is very well forward. Jake as Mysterio was well cast. Holland definitely loves this role. Zendaya's MJ evolves. Seeing Sam Jackson is always great.. IMO this is on par with Tobey Spiderman 2 and I loved that one a whole lot. I'd give this easy a 8/10
