It could be I guess.I don't think canon has said anything definitive(one way or another) about his fate after RotJ/the Sarlacc... Could have went the Legends route and had him escape.

Seems possible that Boba could have survived, even though I'd be shocked if he was properly mentioned in this.
Aside from that, it seems like this covert of Mandalorians has reverted back to the ancient ways of their people following the purge. Now they apparently never even remove their helmets, for example(which seems like a logistical nightmare, btw.) This is a pretty sharp contrast to TCW-era Mandalorians, who routinely removed their helmets.
I also like that their own personal code trumps everything else. So even when Mando broke the code of the guild and was being attacked by all the bounty hunters, his fellow Mandalorians immediately came to his aid, no questions asked(even though he and the big one Jon Favreau voiced squabbled earlier in the episode.) Pretty cool, imo. 👆

Also I just realized that the Mando and Boba would be about the same age give or take because Mando's parents were killed at some point during the Clone Wars on an unnamed planet who then I assume Mando is rescued by the Mandalorians and then taken in and raised by them in their ways. I bet Mano isn't a real Mandalorian.

Oh I highly doubt that Mando is a 'native' Mandalorian or w/e. This covert is probably just going back to their ancient roots: ie. essentially anyone can be a Mandalorian IF they are willing to live that lifestyle and stick to the code... And the "Foundlings" are likely just random children they've collected that are also being groomed in the Mandalorian ways.
