Hey hey hey, I’m still sad every time I watch Ep 3 and Windu dies 🙁

When exactly is this show set? I know it takes place between ROTJ and TFA, but it definitely seems like it is set more towards the former.

Has an official year been given or anything?

It's supposed to be set about 5 years after the battle of Endor. So 9ABY.

If I recall correctly, at this point of time there is still the Empire, but it’s limited to a few territories in the mid and inner rim, right? And then you also have those imperials who fled in the unknown regions

Yeah.

This evidently takes place a few years after the Battle of Jakku. A time when the Empire had been almost entirely defeated/disbanded, but was still quasi-operational within a few random pocket-factions here and there. That's why Karga mentioned that Imperial credits "still spend", but the Mandalorian refused to accept them(even if it meant taking half the pay.)

Curious ti find out if they were eventually absorbed by the FO or the republic or they are still there in the new trilogy

This show is great so far.

One of the elements I like is how Mandalorian is just sort of piecing his armor together bit by bit. Whenever he earns an ingot of beskar steel he has to forged into a new piece of armor. Really cool detail.

I also read that this season has 8 episodes. I wonder if his armor will be complete by the end or if it will still be incomplete?

Mando appeared to be fully armored in one of the trailers:

So yeah, I'd assume we'll see him complete the armor this season.

Also ya. Great ep. for sure.

Just watched it, great episode, the only issue is the lenght. If the make a second season I hope the episodes will be 10-15 minutes longer

The first half of the episode was not very enjoyable for me as my girlfriend cried and whined about the poor baby, but his rescue mission was awesome.

Fun show so far.
