But yeah I dont think she was being anti-Semitic at all. She just went overboard playing victim.

Playing the victim and being edgy. She knew she was already on thin ice, but decided that being an edgelord so some people would cheer and froth was more important to her than being employed by Disney. Her choice.

I liked her character, I wish she would have kept her "but we're the victims!" whining off her social media.

She's the victim of disney's hypocrisy this is correct.

Repeat: You should put your money where your mouth is and boycott Disney then, if you feel that strongly about it. There's a movement to do just that and we all know how you like to be part of movements.

You won't though, you'll continue to illegally download Disney films/shows while blowing your rape whistle.

From what ive see from youtubers they will all do this.

I mean as if people will just not watch the Loki or Obi-Wan show now because Disney were hypocritical in their firing of Gina.

*they will all continue to do this

I won't be giving disney anymore money in the future 👆

You weren't now and you'll still be watching what they put out.

I've bought multiple blu rays in the last few months that Disney would have made money off of, so try again.

I think it is enough to simply stop giving them any of your money. You've said before all Disney cares about in the end is business, so they aren't going be going "we're losing money off this, but ha he downloaded it illegally so morally we win". Especially because they *don't* win. They win if I continue to reward them with money.

I don't currently have Disney Plus, I was thinking about getting it, but now I do not intend to do so. Also since the pandemic began I have purchased multiple blu rays that they made money off of(they own a lot lol). So it's not as if anyone can say I wasn't giving them a dime before this and thus nothing has changed.

Yeah but piracy is still theft.

Most people do it, Ive done it plenty in the past. So not judging.

Just dont bother justifying it.

I agree, my comment wasn't to justify pirating it was to point out my rationale when it comes to being against Disney but still torrenting some of their shows. What they care about is my money, not anything else.

The Mandalorian: What’s Next for Grogu?

I'm guessing Grogu comes back to the show season 4, or he's part of some unlisted show yet. Too popular of a character to just write off.

I was assuming he'd maybe show up in the Ahsoka show, which I'm definitely looking forward to watching because they've teased Thrawn.

Been a fan of Thrawn for decades now, is Robert Downey Jr still in line for the role? Because it all went a bit up in the air after Ginagate, RDJ hates cancel culture and there was an idea he'd pull out.

If he was truly considering it I hope he still does, but I couldn't blame him for pulling out given he has enough money where he doesn't *need* any specific project.

Last I heard he's still being considered. I hope he doesn't back away, he'd probably do an excellent job at it.

Meh. Out of the Avengers cast, Benedict Cumberbatch would fit Thrawn much better IMO. Unfortunately ive not heard any rumours of him being considered.

Out of the rumoured ones my preference would be Lars Mikkleson (the voice actor from Rebels).

It's kinda ironic. Growing up, my conservative parents boycotted disney throughout my childhood because of their "support of a radical homosexual agenda."

We boycotted Kmart for selling I think it was porn magazines...

Focus on the family had a running list of companies not to buy from.

Conservatives invented cancel Culture. They just really hate the shoe being on the other foot.

I see people on other sites trying to make Gina out to be a victim of Cancel Culture. This really isn't Cancel Culture because this isn't some screw up from years and years ago that somebody decided to dig up. This was on going current behavior. She was only let go after having been given multiple chances and she chose not to listen. This is a case of someone shooting themselves in the foot multiple times.

This goes for pretty much any other workplace. If someone did something that their boss didn't approve of and they continued to do that specific thing again and again, their ass would be fired. Hell for most people, their employer would have just fired them from the first infraction.
