So, wow. In the list of 18 school shootings one of those listed is a military vet who committed suicide in an area that used to be a school. Several wee accidental discharges, one of which was at a specific demonstration of weapons and he mistook a live weapon for a training weapon. You can say that was a bad idea, but no it's not a school shooting.

How do you propose we deal with mass shootings? Because it does not seem like no-gun-zones reduce their prevalence.

As I posted previously, technological solutions offer the best long term mass shootings prevention method that satisfies both Pro gun individuals rights to own guns and gun control activists concerns around preventing shootings. I. E, guns with electronic firing components that are deactivated using geofencing in certain public areas or outwith registered areas such as the owner's home, gun ranges, hunting areas. Fingerprint unlocking safety mechanisms that only unlock for registered owners. GPS data sent to authorities upon weapons being fired and continuously broadcast to allow shooter's location to be more quickly established if the weapon is fired in a public area. Magnetic or RFID trigger locks.

Lots of options available beyond the completely pointless, futile and endlessly repeated "ban da gunz" arguments.
