The CNN townhall, it was embarrassing the way some of the kids acted. Shame.

Yeah, crazy of teenagers of all people to be emotional over their peers being murdered. Crazy.

No, embarrassing and pathetic the way some acted.

YouTube video

Embarrassing. The way some of them phrased questions...pathetic, As is anyone who takes them seriously.

I'm not clicking that, but do you feel this way because you came to this conclusion on your own or it's because it's something the 'cool kids philosopher' told you to feel? My guess is on the later, as you always need to be told what to feel/think by some White edge-guy on youtube.

I feel this way because of the pathetic way some of these exploited teens phrased their questions with nobody calling them on it. I feel anyone who supports them after this is not very bright.

So I was correct then. Gotcha.

No, but I will allow you to celebrate the pretend win. Lol, didn't you call these kids smart or something? Hilarious.

Yeah someone saying that looking at Marco Rubio is like looking down the barrel at the school shooter that murdered everyone is just normal acceptable behavior?

Nobody batted an eye, and then just wait to see what the one student says about Dana Loeschs kids.

Umm, I didn’t watch the CNN townhall, but if I did I would have watched it as is and came to my own opinions like a normal person.

I don’t need to watch it to the backdrop of some YouTube ranter always telling me what to think on the given subject, that’s your weakness, sport.

You see I can hear a person recount something and make my own choices. I heard what these kids did. Stop bullshitting.

Another day, another mass shooting. Several people have noted, these are becoming more and more common now in 2017 and there's no reason to believe they're going to lesson any time soon as nothing gets done/changes, so might as well make an official thread. #maga

This time in N. California, four dead, several others injured, some children. Man went on shooting spree across seven different locations, no one really knows why at this point; "insanity" seems to be the motive being pushed.

I'm starting to agree with the "toxic cuture" side to a point.

But not for the reasons they claim. It has nothing to do with violent television or video games, or a lack or social institutions.

I just think we've all embraced a "Dog eat dog, winner take all" mindset.

Is there ANY solidarity among western cultures that isn't based off of hate of an other, or competitive advantage?

I mean, you can look at hate of women, or blacks, or even white trash, and it all seems to boil down to one thing: A toxic ubercompetitiveness where the only people we admire are the "winners", while actively hating on "losers".

That's a problem, because the "losers" live a life of shame and isolation they simply can't escape from.. I've seen parents acts embaressed of their own children because they couldn't play on the ice with the other kids well.

And it's not all rosy for "winners" either, who have tremendous pressure to keep "winning". Or risk becoming a failure.

And some people... they just can't handle any of it. But they're living it, 24/7, all around them.

This is beyond partisanship. This is our culture.. And we're ALL guilty of it to some extent, and we all support it to some extent.

Unfortunately I don't see the era of trigger warnings, safe spaces and participation trophies changing anytime soon.

The 90's was when the assault rifle ban (AWB) happened, ergo, banning assault rifles decreases gun-crime. Good job, Kurk, knew you had it in you 👆
Ah makes sense. I remember that the majority of muggers use AR 15s to rob their victims. Very discrete. If you're serious about this I can take the time out of my schedule to dig for the stats saying how assault rifles are rarely used in ordinary violent crimes, meaning anything other than mass shootings.

Did you hear the interview with Jim Himes where he says that he supports a ban on technology that would allow you to fire off 20 to 30 rounds in a minute or two?

Fun wit Rage and Facts!

Holy shit, AN ARMED DEPUTY WAITED OUTSIDE FOR FOUR MINUTES WHILE THIS SHOOTING WENT ON.

He has resigned. The sheriff had the AUDACITY to sit there and lecture Dana Loesch the other day, knowing this.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/23/us/florida-school-shooting/index.html

and there's another dilemma. what if the hired "good guy with a gun" is a coward?

the obvious solution is to install a perimeter automated turrets.
