We see him levitating multiple pods at once. High ground or not, Yoda wasn't busting out that type of stuff. He was flicking those senate pods around with ease. Yoda was not.

I still think Yoda stopping one and throwing it back is more impressive than Sidious throwing them. It certainly made Sidious rethink his strategy.

I think his levitating multiple pods and the ease in which he does it is superior to what Yoda does. Yoda needs a few seconds of time to redirect the thing as well.

I think Sidious has more raw power, but that Yoda can do more with the power he has at his disposal.

Yoda appeared to overpower Sidious when he was blocking the force lightning with his bare hands, Sidious had that OH F#CK!! look on his face at that time, which was a pretty common look on his face when he was fighting Grand Master Yoda.

He was absorbing the force power of him, but it exploded and damaged them both.

In other words IMO I think Yoda could withstand more than he could dish out.

If you take authorial intent seriously, I think it's pretty clear that Lucas intended them to be evenly matched.

Possibly, I think it is just the fact the light side and dark side do different shit. Yoda is good at soaking up the force. And with some concentration he could do some attacks. Palpatine is probably the opposite. Able to easily attack, but probably needs more concentration for defense.

lol Yoda struggled with tat one pod while Sidious casually threw many as if they were tissue paper; id say Palpatine had an easier time of it for sure and im sure you'll counter with the fact that he is throwing them downwards but if you look closely not only does Sidious throw them easily he rips them from their moorings very easily as well which would take an unparalleled level of TK strength; Yoda and Sidious were dead even in the FL fight so what if Yoda was able to block it with the Force he couldn't overtake the Emperor with it

The pods weren't coming were stationary Palpatine was tossing. When Yoda tossed the one back at Palpatine he got the **** out of dodge. Yoda made Sidious bellow out in pain. What a pussy. His force power equaled that of Palpatine you utter moron. Only you could compare picking something up and tossing it to blocking something being thrown at you at a high rate of speed.

They are equals in the force.
