Ozymandias vs. Black Panther

The thing about H1 is that he's all for slowing a tape down and examining it frame-by-frame if it'll prove that Captain America or Winter Soldier weren't really running all that fast during a scene. However when it comes to characters he favors, he believes we should ignore what is clearly seen on screen and focus solely on what the writer intended.

As for examples. He claims that Ozymandias, Batman, Bane and Miyagi are all faster than the movies show them to be because of "writer's intent". Yet Captain America, Winter Soldier and Sunny are all slow because they are only moving as fast as the actors portraying them can move.

Yeah. He does that, then claims he is using other people's standards, even though everyone else maintains the same arguments across different threads, whereas his flip-flop depending on the character being discussed.

A piece of advice that H1 should really consider.

If you have a problem with one or two people, maybe they're trolls. If you have a problem with everyone, maybe you're the troll.

Bucky is enhanced, but not by a huge margin.
His robot arm makes him peers to Steve. Without it, he would be inferior to Steve.

Ozy is just too fast and far more skilled than T'Challa. T'Challa might have a strength and durability edge, but it isn't so much that Ozy can't hurt him.

It would just take a lot of hits to put T'Challa down.

Going by feats and not massively biased opinions.

Black Panther wins.

He wouldn’t be able to land a blow on Ozy. Whereas Ozy can hit him a lot of times.

Your fantasies aside, per actual feats. BP is by far the faster fighter.

Ozy caught a bullet. That’s far faster than anything BP did.
Ozy casually parried lightning fast attacks from Rorschach. Some of these attacks appear faster than any attack I saw from BP.

Rorschach is faster than Black Panther now. You guys heard it hear first.

This h1a8 is the same moron who said Thor isn't bulletproof and Luke Cage is just as strong as Thor.

Some of the suited fight scenes in Black Panther feature combat shots or sequences where the character is full CGI (for example, there are a few shots where it is noticeable during the jungle fight early in the film, when he is flipping and dodging and tumbling around the guys). To claim that Rorschach moved faster than all of that is flat-out BS.

Not to mention, part of the intro tells us how one of the powers the herb gives the Black Panther is enhanced speed. So, beyond the extremely fast CG fight shots, the writer's intent regarding his speed is virtually spoon-fed to us.

Wrong. Things like bullets and arrows are absolute. Clear writer’s intentions.

It’s you who are inconsistent. When I argued writer’s intentions then you would argue visual speed. When I argue visual speed (to be on the same page and make the debate progress) then you would criticize it.

Stop flaming and choose what should be the case and why?
