From what I understand, actual GOP seat losses are fewer than 8. And this is one of them. Most of these are incumbents leaving office and a new GOP candidate not coming up to snuff.

I was reading an interesting breakdown by a Dem on this. That Dems should not be celebrating that it is a symptom of a much more terrible problem with Trump (lots of GOP people disloyal to Trump lost).

The take away is that Dems need to get out and vote more often because it looks like the GOP is pruning in prep for Trump winning in 2020.
