I never understood this logic....

The team guns were down scaled to justify the other members, it happens on EVERY team. It doesn't mean they aren't elites. They are simply more grounded.

Not everyone is Hickman, where they deal with saving the Multiverse.

Kinda siding with Saint here. IMO team portrayals should be looked at differently because generally teams fight like idiots or are written down to make spiderman/wasp notable when you also have a hulk and a thor.

Of course you would side with Saint. I wonder why all of a sudden you all decided to use this type of debating tactic.

When did Clark defeat Darkseid (cant wait for you to say whatever showing I think you are going to mention)?

It was a one shot issue where he physically defeated him several years ago, surprised you are not up on your P's and Q's.

And he may well be, but not stronger than AS Dupes however.

After being saturated with yellow solar energy in All-Star Superman, his strength was tested, and demonstrated to be sufficient to support over 200 quintillion tons (or 2x1020 tons in scientific notation, i.e., two hundred billion billion tons); he held this much with one hand and he even said he feels like he can pick up more, enough to pull Earth away from the sun.

As of 2011's The New 52 reboot, his strength now exceeds 5.972 sextillion metric tons, and he managed to do it in the absence of a sun for five consecutive days with only a single drop of sweat, leaving Superman asking for more, although this has been done before by the New Earth/Infinite Crisis Superman, when he moved the Earth away from the Sun against Starbreaker's force. On this occasion, he did have the assistance of the Green Lantern, however, it should be noted that Green Lantern only made a chain out of willpower and connected it to Earth, with Superman alone providing the actual pulling strength.

It should also be noted that Superman from the Post-Crisis era can lift even heavier items like Mageddon (a mechanism that dwarfs the Sun)[volume & issue needed]and the Book of Infinite Pages with the assistance of Shazam. Explanations include being adapted to the heavier gravity of Krypton, and his muscles using the power of the solar energy which fuels all his abilities. While in direct yellow sunlight, his strength can be augmented to incalculable and limitless levels. He has strength necessary to shatter entire worlds.

Hyperion is stronger then all star superman,post-crisis superman, new52 superman, and rebirth superman.

Marcus Milton (Earth-13034)
Strength level

Class 100 +, Early listed as between 75 and 100 tons. However, Hyperion's strength most likely reaches beyond Class 100+ as he is strong enough to physically separate two Earths locked in an incursion with his bare hands for a brief period of time, hold off the Hulk, and easily lift the entirety of Atlantis.

Superhuman Strength: Hyperion possesses great physical strength. Between 75 and 100 tons, likely class 95. However, currently his strength most likely reaches beyond Class 100+, since Marcus Milton was able to hold two Earths apart to prevent them from colliding with each other for a period of time, confront the Hulk blow-for-blow until the Hulk reverted back to human form,, and lift the entire city of Atlantis out of the water and fly high in the air with it. True limits of his strength is still unknown since it fluctuate over time

By the way when hickmen meant hulk he could have been talking about world war hulk or the worldbreaker version.

Anyway i think hyperion is stronger then savage hulk and the doc hulk version and may equal or surpass wwh.

It's the worldbreaker hulk version i think could be stronger then hyperion but if the normal hulk is stronger then hyperion, then so be it.
Normal hulk himself has been getting much stronger over the years any way but i think he stronger then savage hulk.

Hey look who is the new dc version of hulk by the way.

As for the hulk.
15 Marvel Characters Stronger Than The Hulk | Screen Rant

“Hulk is strongest there is!” That’s something the Hulk has proclaimed on many an occasion. It’s a pretty bold statement from someone who absolutely isn’t the strongest there is. In fact, he’s not all that close but, then again, the gamma-powered Avenger never was the brightest bulb in the box. Sure, staunch fans of the character will claim that he has unlimited potential strength, but we can only go by what we’ve seen him do on-panel, and comic books have shown that the Hulk certainly has his limits.

The very Marvel universe the Hulk inhabits is home to countless characters whose strength is superior to that of the Green Goliath’s. In many of those cases, Hulk’s strength is emphatically dwarfed by said characters (to the extent that him punching them in the face with all his might would be the equivalent of a flea punching the average human). And we’re not just talking about the godlike creator entities in the Marvel universe. The likes of the One-Above-All and the Living Tribunal quite obviously make the Hulk’s very existence pale into insignificance, but you definitely don’t have to go that far up the power hierarchy to find characters who could out-muscle Bruce Banner’s angry alter ego.

So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the characters in the Marvel universe who could put Hulk to the sword in a battle of strength. While the entries in this list vary vastly in terms of their power levels, it will prove that you don’t have to look up as far as you might think to find such individuals. Here are 15 Marvel Characters Stronger Than The Hulk.

Here some from the list.
I am not posting all but you could check out the rest below in the link.

The Silver Surfer

The Silver Surfer is an enormously powerful character (having been imbued with said power by Galactus himself), and he possesses a wide range of exotic abilities. He isn’t, however, known for his strength. This possibly owes to the fact that he is slender and very slightly built in comparison to a lot of other heroes. However, he is, in fact, a physical beast, one that is definitely capable of outmuscling the Hulk.

The pair have fought on a number of occasions, with Surfer coming out on top most of the time due to his energy projection powers. When it comes to physical strength, both have got the better of each other, but Surfer has won the majority of these contests. Like Hulk’s strength increases with rage, Surfer can use the Power Cosmic to increase his own, and the Power Cosmic is a much more potent source of power than rage-fuelled gamma radiation (that’s just a fact). And it certainly doesn’t hurt that he has vastly superior super-speed behind his physical attacks.

Surfer’s most impressive feats of strength include things like breaking out of a planet-sized cluster of asteroids that Michael Korvac has crushed him inside, shattering numerous vibranium walls, and throwing a starship into the outer solar system on a path that would continue for centuries. The Surfer’s most telling showing against the Hulk saw him fighting equally with him physically while the Power Cosmic was massively dampened.

Gladiator

Gladiator is a member of the Strontian species and is, classically, the leader of the Shi’ar Empire’s Imperial Guard. He possesses all the powers that Superman has, but at a higher level and with more aggression behind them (he’s basically a major Superman analog, and his real name, “Kallark”, is a portmanteau or “Kal-El” and “Clark Kent”). He is also considerably stronger than the Hulk is.

Gladiator once hit Wonder Man so hard that the hero stated his head would have come off if he hadn’t rolled with the punch. He also pummelled that same hero into the core of a planet from its surface with a single punch. He has destroyed a planet with a single punch, and even kicked Mjolnir across a city, moving it a considerable distance in spite of the fact that he isn’t worthy of wielding it. Moreover, Gladiator also has incredible levels of super-speed, enabling him to put more force behind his hits, which considerably aids the level of physical force he can dish out.

Honestly, a major reason he hasn’t been introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe is that he may be too powerful.

Captain Universe

Captain Universe is not actually a person. It’s the physical manifestation of the concept known as the Uni-Power in the Marvel universe. Once it possesses a noble host in times of crisis, it grants said host immense power for the purpose of protecting the universal balance. That power generally includes enormous super-strength on a level that even the Hulk can’t match.

The Uni-Power has merged with a number of individuals over the years. In fact, when it possessed Spider-Man, the Webbed Wonder was able to send the Hulk to the moon with a single punch, winning the physical battle with him there and then. A Uni-Power-imbued Sue Storm was able to beat down the aforementioned Gladiator, and that’s someone who can survive an explosion powerful enough to destroy half a solar system.

To prove it doesn’t require the character it possesses to already have power, on another occasion, the Uni-Power possessed an ordinary citizen named William Nguyen, who had lost his job when the Juggernaut’s rampage destroyed the building he worked in. Nguyen was able to knock the Juggernaut out in a revenge attack, even though the Juggernaut is usually invulnerable to such attacks and has taken the Hulk’s punches without damage in the past.

5 Heroes Stronger Than HULK And THOR That The MCU Should Introduce

Marvel Studios' Phase 4 is currently wide open after Infinity War. If Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) should fall in battle against Thanos (Josh Brolin), here are 5 worthy replacements.

"Hulk is the strongest!" Or are you among the fans that say the Mighty Thor is Marvel's strongest hero? This debate has raged for decades among the Marvel faithful and will likely rage on for many decades more. However, what often goes unmentioned in these arguments is the fact that Marvel writers have introduced quite a few new superheroes in recent years that are stronger than both of them. IA shared (and significant) trait among these new heroes is the fact that none are Mutants, meaning they're free of any entanglements with 20th Century Fox and theoretically are elligible to be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe one day.

With DC fans divided on Zack Snyder's polarizing depiction of Superman, is the door open for Marvel to introduce a character that comic book fans have openly mocked for being a thinly veiled attempt at creating a Superman clone? If that hypothetical door is indeed open, Kevin Feige has several candidates to chose from among Marvel's roster.

HYPERION

Created in 1969, Marcus Milton is Marvel's first and most blatant attempt to create their own version of Superman. His power-set includes super strength, flight, 'Atomic vision' and he derives his power from solar energy. Since his debut, Marvel has actually introduced several alternate versions of the character, the most powerful among them being the maniacal King Hyperion of Earth-4023.

This version of Hyperion is the most powerful of all the various versions. Obsessed with his own strength, he travels from one dimension to the next, destroying each of that reality's strongest warriors (including various alternate versions of Hulk and Thor). However, his arrival in the main, 616-Universe signaled his doom as he met defeat at the hands of another Superman-like character that will be featured later on in the list.

You are reading: Puny Banner: 15 Characters Stronger Than The Hulk That Marvel Is Holding Back

Bruce Banner, the Incredible Hulk, is considered by many to be the strongest hero on Earth. At the very least, the Hulk definitely thinks so, constantly yelling that “Hulk is the strongest one there is!”. With gamma-fueled strength, a healing factor, and his notorious ability for getting stronger the madder he becomes, fans generally believe the Hulk is unbeatable. The early days of Marvel definitely reinforced the idea; their two strongest heroes were the Hulk and Thor. Over the years, the Hulk’s strength has grown to the point where his footsteps create earthquakes. Writers have expanded on Hulk’s powers as they try and reach the upper levels of his strength; the Hulk always turns the tide of any battle.

Despite the power to lift mountains and crack planets, Marvel is chock full of beings stronger than the Hulk; some can turn him inside out with just a pinky. It’s not pleasant to think about, which is why Marvel likes to hide said characters away, letting fans believe Hulk really is the strongest one around. However, much to chagrin of Hulk fans around the world, today at CBR we’re looking at 15 characters stronger than the Hulk that Marvel would rather you not know exist.

I will post a few,for the rest open link below.

Silver Surfer
Time and again the Hulk has been thrust into cosmic battles or faced down beings of cosmic origin, and time again the Hulk struggles in the face of cosmically-powered opponents. The Silver Surfer, wielder of the Power Cosmic, has fought Hulk on numerous occasions and defeated him in nearly every instance.

Despite his gentle-looking frame, the Surfer is the host to immense power. With the Power Cosmic bestowed onto him by Galactus, the Silver Surfer is a Superman-level entity, but with a vaster array of powers. He can control gravity, rearrange molecules, creating something from nothing, time travel, is telekinetic, and has many, many more powers. He’s unquestionably one of Marvel’s mightiest heroes. Using the Power Cosmic, the Surfer has beat the Hulk without even touching him, applying the Power Cosmic to revert the Hulk back to Bruce Banner without the Surfer throwing a single punch.

captain universe
Firstly, Captain Universe is not an actual person, but rather the physical manifestation of the Uni-Power. The Uni-Power possesses individuals during a respective crisis and gives them the power to solve it. As a result, the power granted is astronomical, as the wielder becomes many times stronger than the Hulk, is capable of energy manipulation and projection, and nearly any other power the wielder can think of or needs at a certain moment.

When Spider-Man possessed the power, he punched the Hulk into space and when Sue Storm was imbued with the Uni Power, she effortlessly defeated the nigh-unbeatable Gladiator…the guy who’s survived attacks that have destroyed half a solar system. Even non-superpowered beings become ridiculously strong. The character William Nguyen was just a normal dude, but when he acquired the power, he hit the Juggernaut so hard that the latter’s helmet came right off and knocked him clean out.

GLADIATOR
A member of the Strontian species, Gladiator is the leader of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard and generally regarded as one of the universe’s strongest mortals. Essentially an analog of Superman, Gladiator possesses all the powers of the Man of Steel, and then some. His hyper violent nature also makes him deadlier than a great many other beings in his weight class.

The number of awe-inspiring feats Gladiator has committed is too long to list, but a few of them are that he’s flown across galaxies in seconds, punched Wonder Man to the center of a planet, kicked Thor’s hammer across a city (despite being unworthy to lift it), flown through suns, and even destroyed an entire planet with one punch. With all manner of sensory powers too, Gladiator’s only real weakness is his self-confidence, but he’s typically a braggart and completely confident in himself.

HYPERION
The first character Marvel created as an answer to Superman, Hyperion allies himself with the Squadron Supreme and the Avengers and is considered one of the strongest super-humans in the entire Marvel Multiverse. Rescued by the Grandmaster after his planet was inadvertently destroyed by Genis-Vell, he was introduced as a villain.

Heralding from Earth-13034 and already possessing great power, when he arrived to Earth-616, he became even stronger, as Hyperion gains his power from the Sun and the Sun in this universe was less filtered. Hyperion’s powers are nearly identical to Superman. He has Atomic Vision, which can fire heat blasts of 12,000 degrees, and is so strong he’s lifted and thrown Atlantis on his own, held two universes apart, and slowed down a hurtling planet single-handed. His invulnerability is also such that he survived the destruction of two Earths colliding. Anything Hulk can do, Hyperion can do in spades.

sun god
Born in another universe, Zoran, or Sun God as his world knows him by, is also the strongest being in his universe. A member of the Great Society, which is essentially an unabashed rip-off of the Justice League, Sun God and his team defeated an Incursion brought on by the Mapmakers. Immediately after they were forced to deal with the Illuminati, made up of Mr. Fantastic, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Beast, Black Bolt and Namor.

Upon meeting the heroes from Earth-616, it became clear the Great Society didn’t possess any means with which to stop another Incursion and only had “hope” in their arsenal. A planet needed to die so one could live. Namor starts the fight between the two groups, seeing the pointlessness of their debating. Throughout the fight, Sun God takes on the Hulk and beats him with just two shots.

Blue Marvel
Adam Brashear served his country in the military, but then later discovered he had powers. After the revelation, Adam adopted the superhero alias the Blue Marvel and saved the country numerous times. He was forced into retirement by the government because of his tremendous power and for being black. He eventually came back, stronger than ever.

One of the, if not the, strongest hero on Earth, Blue Marvel received his powers thanks to getting mutated by radiation from the event horizon of the Negative Zone. Considered any Alpha-Level threat, which is designated for planet-destroying entities, Blue Marvel can manipulate all antimatter; one-gram contains the same energy as an atomic bomb. The limits to his power are unknown, but he’s defeated the Sentry with one punch and knocked out Ultimate Hulk with one punch. With no known weaknesses, Blue Marvel can do nearly anything he sets his mind to.

SENTRY
Supposedly harnessing the power of a million exploding suns (whatever that means), The Sentry is essentially Marvel’s dark version of Superman. After drinking an experimental super-solider formula, Bob Reynolds became the Sentry. All was not dandy, as the Void, the darker half of the Sentry, would occasionally manifest and create chaos. The Hulk fought the Void once, and had all his bones broken. In their second fight, Worldbreaker Hulk, the Hulk’s strongest form, fights the non-Void Sentry and still barely wins.

Later, after his tenure with the Avengers, he joined Norman Osborn’s Dark Avengers. During “Siege” the Sentry killed Ares, the God of War, destroyed Asgard, and then required a nuclear explosion, the combined assault of the Avengers, and Thor’s hammer Mjonir’s mightiest strikes before finally dying. Unleashed, the Sentry can perform reality and molecular manipulation, energy absorption and manipulation, and virtually every other power imaginable.

Class 100+; the Sentry possesses superhuman strength enabling him to lift well over 100 tons easily. He has been able to stalemate one of the most powerful incarnations of the Hulk while weakened by his Agoraphobia, destroy the Shields of Dr Doom and even contain a Cosmic Cube for a while before it was absorbed into the Sentry's body. Marvel dubbed The Sentry as the world's most powerful superhero at some point in time.

NOTE- The sentry that the Ww hulk fought was a weaker version of sentry and it was really a stalemate.

A lot of those characters you're listing isn't stronger than Hulk.
