Waiting might be best for now, yeah. I see the appeal, Hulk took Mjolnir + Hercules in stride, then got rocketed out of earth by his backhand.
But since it's probably just new villain hype, he'll have to do A LOT to contend with Darkseid, who's been doing pretty well since they figured out how he should be treating Superman:
