Well yes. He did do that exact same thing during his fight on the bridge against the Undead. And Superman can use his superspeed too... not sure how he'll get to hit Thor without hurting himself with that shield on though.

Who exactly has said that Thor will non-stop spam lightning + have his lightning cloak active, while Superman won't ever use his speed.
