Full force of a Star yeah. Forgot that statement.

Writer's intent is that "full force" means heat of a star.

Well H1 Heat isn't a force.....Heat is energy.

Sorry, but I didn't know the only force in a star was its heat. What science book says that so I can research?

Stars only emit gases, heat, radiation, and magnetism. Gravity is a pulling force, not a pushing one.

Thor was hit by a beam of heat energy that was used to MELT the metal.
That was writer's intent and what was shown (as no other force acted on anyone there).

Enough of the trolling.

Force has multiple meanings
It can mean energy.
Just ask Silent. He posted a definition of it.

Well either way. To my criteria Thor has better overall durability feats than Superman.

He does not. He has arguably a better heat resistant feat, nothing more. That showing doesn't contradictions his other showings against Hulk or Kurse.

Superman has been uppercut to the top of a skyscraper. Superman struck the skyscraper at the top and caused major damage. Superman had 0 damage.
Superman was sent flying with enough force to go through 6 skyscrapers (steel beams and concrete) with 0 damage.
Superman was hit by military jet bullets with 0 damage.
Jets were moving towards Superman (velocity of bullets were larger than normal).

There are other feats as well.

Saying that you don't agree with special effects therefore it didn't happen isn't a valid argument.

Superman was thrown against his statue and then struck with a boulder by DD which clearly partially K.O him.

Thor was thrown against a mountain and later smashed with a gigantic boulder bigger to the one DD used, and wasn't as bad as Superman was.

Special effects has nothing to do with the truth.
Melting metal requires heat. It was heat that was needed. Stars have heat. It was the intent that heat energy gets through in order to melt the metal.

Weren't you the one downplaying Superman's black hole feat since Lois wasn't affected?

Your speculation also doesn't trump the movie. it was stated that Thor would be hit with the full force of the star.

Movie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> you

Did you know that gravity is a force?

Apparently, the most advanced weapons-making race in the known universe who had tech enough to actually encase a neutron star only really did so to harness the star’s heated plasma. Plasma whose temp is already attainable using Earth-level tech (http://www.sciencefocus.com/qa/have-scientists-ever-made-anything-hotter-sun).

Nah, not buying it,

Character words >>>> h1 speculation.

Superman was thrown through the both the statue and a skyscraper (did you forget that?). 0 damage.

Characters have both low and high showings. You can't use a character's low showings against another character's high showings. Be consistent and use only high showings as everyone else do here.

Prior to being shot to the building he was already K.Oed h1.

It's funny how h1 keeps changing his standards for what counts and how sed changing standards always seem to benefit the side he's arguing for.

@nibedicus

This is a movie. Apparently a stars heat is enough to melt the metal. Stars last for millions of years. Therefore, you have millions of of years of free energy. It makes sense to use the energy source. It does not contradict anything.

Right now, you are debating something that you don't believe in (which is a form of trolling).

Simply tell us whether you honestly believe that Thor resisted outward pushing gravity forces and magnetic forces (as intended by the writer's) instead of heat energy.

That addresses the first part, not the second part.
