So it is bullshit, pandering, and an insult to black people to turn Magneto black despite him being based on a black person and the civil rights movement, but you aren't joking when you want Black Panther, whose character is defined by his race and African culture, turned into a white man? That is the ultimate insult.

Still failing to see my point heh?

You also know, there are white Africans? Shocking I know.

But please, continue insulting Blacks by being lazy.

You know...if Denzel ACTUALLY did take the role you guys would twist the argument to black man pandering to white man's greed.

New Concept art:

Apparently Thanos shattered Caps shield with his fists

And yet you're forgetting Stan Lee made the character white in the first place... 🙄

I still wanted to see World Breaker or Savage Hulk. He was so nerfed in this film.

Also, Odin conveniently "died" in Ragnarok so he couldn't help out in the final fight and open a can of whoop ass.

It wasn't Odin's role to show his power.. IMHO... Also Odin might appear in Loki's Disney plus series

I see both y'all's sides but yeah its kinda ****ing lazy to just make other people black just to pander.

Myth you made a comment about new characters not being known and therefore not a good representative right? How many people do you think know that Xavier and Mags were based off of black people? I learned it about 30 seconds before writing this.

It's just more American culture vulture bullshit. Hollywood is more concerned with making ppl happy than doing what's right. They want black people but they don't want to spend the time and effort to make a good character.

But what I just said also has problems, namely kinda ****in late now right? I mean it's hard to make a character as established as these two 60 years after their creation right.

I personally don't give a shit what color they are but I do get upset the way American culture is turning. I'm a white guy that was raised by a black family for about 5-6 years of my life.

Here is what it really boils down to with me. Godzilla 1998 is the perfect example. They took a character that people loved, and that people were dying to see on a big screen (American) and they completely changed his appearance and basically took away exactly what you wanted in the first place, to see that character on the big screen. If it does not resemble my hero that I have grown to love over the years then it's not ****ing him. Plain and simple .

30 k a month? Wtf? My dad was supposed to send $150 a month and didn't even do that lol.

Jesus Christ! No child is worth that much in a month.

On the Jeremy Renner child support note: I'm picturing Jim Carrey as Lloyd Christmas in Dumb & Dumber with his IOU's, "$30 thou a month, might wanna hold on to that one."

On the black Magneto note:
- On the one hand, Erik whole hatred for humanity and his on-again, off-again friendship/rivalry/war with Charles is due to the evils perpetrated against himself and the Jewish people by the Nazis in the Holocaust.
- On the other hand, a re-telling where he Erik is the victim of another evil and horrific genocidal event or something connected to a vile act perpetrated against himself against the backdrop of the Civil Rights Movement in the USA could work too, and Denzel is one of my favorite actors. Even if clickbait from the website source, the actor who famously portrayed Malcolm X on the silver screen, on whom Magneto is based, could be golden.

Given Hollywood's track record, the movie would be dog-shit.

30k a month? JFC.

Endgame is the best movie I have ever seen in my life.

That and IW. THANOS reigns supreme.

So apparently this lost the number one box office spot after Avatar got another re-release in China recently:

Would be cool to see these two do endless re-releases to keep overtaking the other lmao.

Dont think anything else will ever come close. Especially post Covid.

RIP Caps beard.

Did like him with the beard very much.

My 17 year old daughter has been watching the MCU films at a slow but steady pace all through 2022 and she just recently finished Endgame.

Her initial reaction was very optimistic and satisfying, but she began asking me a lot of questions.

“Why didn’t Dr. Strange use the Time stone to kill or incapacitate Thanos?”

“Why the f*ck did Strange give away the Time stone?”

“Fourteen million alternate views and Iron Man is the only one?”

“Time travel seems like a cop out and lazy writing, dad.”

“Dude! We watched WandaVision and Wanda could have soloed Thanos!”

My kid is very much like me. She knows what’s up.

Yeah, I didn't like Endgame much at all. Mainly for the time travel. Like she said, it's lazy. We could see it coming from a mile away.

Also it was way too goddamn long.

I just pretend that Infinity War is the finale, heh. I liked that one.
