What Jordan Peterson says

I know he's your new ideology buddy and that's cool, we all need a buddy I guess. But he's making no distinction. It's the same as such.

You do this whenever anyone agrees with one another if it goes against something you are saying. Suddenly they are "buddies".

Granted, I have no ill will towards Scribble and would consider him a friend, but he really hasn't been one to hold back if he thinks I'm wrong. You did this with Darth too.

So, it's always about buddies in the GDF, is it? Could we perhaps discuss matters without dropping our standards so low, for once? I'll point out whenever Surtur is in the wrong (in my view), and very frequently do. However, he can actually engage me in debate without having to post non-sequiturs about 'buddies' and shit, unlike you, who seems to be happy to jump on me as soon as I say something you don't like.

Next you'll be calling me triggered. How lazy political discussion has become. All point-scoring and trolling. I'm happy to debate you on any matter, but only as long as you actually engage me as an individual, and not as a 'side' or an 'ideology'.

So he is your buddy.

It's a thing he does though. I was suddenly DarthSkyalkers buddy when I agreed with him, etc etc.

Almost like he thinks if any two people everdisagree with him it's based on some sort of friendship as opposed to him just being wrong.

Which I find hilarious.

It must be nice to have so many friends.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. It's like people can't understand being friends with someone whilst disagreeing (sometimes substantially) on political, social, ethical matters. I mean, that should be the norm, right? A lack of that cordiality in modern politics is what has lead to this huge divide between people.

Although I would not consider myself 'right-wing' (I'm still firmly a centrist in practice, leaning slightly left or slightly right depending on the specific issue), I can easily say that the Right and Centre are the ones genuinely discussing issues at the moment, whilst the Left screeches into a mirror vacuum of itself.

so scribble is e-buddies with surt now?

heart = broken. 🙁

I know this is probably a joke, but I've backed Surtur in plenty of arguments before, yo. I've even backed Fly on occasion. That's the great thing about not being entranced by ideology: you can agree with whoever you feel is more correct, rather than "the other side", and through doing that, you can create discourse worth engaging in.

Wasn't aware that calling Scribble your "buddy" was a bad thing.

Wrong. With Darth I said you were eFellating him. That was meant as a jab

Surt or Fly worth engaging with.

If you consider being Surt's buddy an insult, that's really on you. If I wanted to be insulting as you seem to think I meant, I would have said "butt buddy".

Calm down and stop playing the victim, okay? I literally replied back with the point, it was the second line.

And most of Leftist KMC is? It's just gifs, sentence fragments and hypocrisy. 95% of conversations here are just shit-slinging matches, but I've had plenty of decent discussions with Surtur. Probably because I don't go into the conversation trying to 'win'.

Oh Rob...didn't you *just* make a comment earlier about strawmen?

It's neither bad nor good, it is just something I have noticed you do.

I've noticed you complain a lot and act the victim at every opportunity. So we both notice stuff.

I see I struck a nerve.

Hardly playing a victim. I'm just saying that I know the tactics people use here, and you just skirted close to turning to them. Don't think I'm some dumb bastard who can't read between lines. Be cordial. The whole 'Nazi' discussion was irrelevant anyway – it was you who claimed that we were saying that people literally called Peterson a Nazi, even though we didn't.

But the fact of the matter is that the alt-right are a Neo-Nazi organisation, and certain parties have done their best to associate Peterson with the alt-right in an effort to discredit him. I've said all of this before.

This is what Rob does. Say anything against him and you're playing the victim.
