JOKER is- and I cannot stress this enough- a literal masterpiece. A movie that perfectly captures an era and devolves into complete, affecting madness. Joaquin has never been better. Phoenix rising... to the top of the Oscar race?? Who knew Todd Phillips had this in him? Wow.

#Joker is now tracking for a $90M opening, which would be an October record. If it plays like LOGAN (2.5x multiplier) or VENOM (2.6x), it's probably looking at around $225M-plus domestically.

All in, WB probably only needs $190M worldwide to turn a profit on the $55M movie

So maybe some oscar nods and big profit.. Sounds like a flop to me
