watched this.. it's an allegory for people to kill and attempt to get away with it...
i've seen better films and fleck is no travis bickle or patrick bateman...
the script should've had more polishing to it.. of course once again

i've enjoyed phoenix in walk the line and her but this isn't one of his best at all...

Good. Hopefully it paves the way for more unconventional comic book movies rather than just big action spectacles (as much fun as they are...)

IDK about the #1 best comic villain as far as who, but for me, the Joker sucks when he's overused to the point of being put in things for the sake of it (because of his iconicness/popularity or whathaveyou) where he ends up being pointless in the grand scheme of things (i.e. Suicide Squad) or just there as a distraction, which may also screw over other villains or characters in general since they're usually forced to job to him in some way (unless they're Batman), but any good or fresh takes on the clown prince of crime I always respect, like this film.
