^ Lol yeah. Remember its been sold as the final chapter of the Star Wars saga. Even my sister in law was like, “this is the final Star Wars film right?”

exactly. I mean Vader took part in blowing up alderan, killed millions, murdered and burned to a crisp lukes aunt and uncle who raised him since birth, kidnapped and tortured his sister, killed his mentor, cut off his hand, froze his best friend in carbonite etc.. Yet Luke was still willing to sacrifice himself to redeem his dead beat dad who he only met a cpl times in his whole life.

Yet with his nephew who hes know since birth, all it took was a nightmare to make him almost kill kylo in his sleep. Wtf

Vader didn't kill millions. That was Tarkin. And it was billions that died from that first Death Star. However, your point is still correct: he took part in the building and supervision of the Death Star. Vader was like Major General Leslie Groves (the Major General in charge of the Manhattan Project). Sure, Major General Groves did not kill all those people in Japan when the A-Bombs were dropped but he is responsible for their deaths, indirectly.

Vader did kill thousands, however. Jedi. Including younglings.

Vader's evil is well known and documented. Also, The Force is seen (in the OT and PT) as more like a universal judger based the content of one's heart. Like God. You cannot like to The Force. If Vader was redeemed, he was redeemed. He truly changed and forsook the Dark Side. That's the right Lucas gets when writing his stories no matter how much it offends our morals and sensibilities. Christianity is not too far off from it. Lucas took concepts from Buddhism and Christianity when he wrote the Star Wars mythology stuff.

I saw this yesterday afternoon on the couch.

I was shocked at how well he captured the story as a pitch meeting. And he has some excellent one-liners.

There's another one for Revenge of the Sith. But I don't want to watch it because I love RotS too much to have my feelings hurt by his screen rant. 🙁

Yeah even if you ignore all the shit he did after episode 3 and focus on stuff just from the movie he murdered several children.

Now when it comes to the number of people he killed, it depends how you wanna count it. If you count people he ordered killed I think the number could be in the hundreds of thousands over the span of about 2 decades. He didn't have a planet destroyer, but I think a star destroyer could law waste to a city of thousands of people if it bombarded it repeatedly from space.

Yes, depends on how much of Legends (EU) stuff you accept. If you don't, he didn't do anything between Episode III and IV except oversee hunting down the last Jedi, building the Death Star, and having a few skirmishes with the nascent Rebel Alliance.

The movies, you mean. Plural.

He murdered children in Attack of the Clones, too.

Tusken Raiders are not inherently evil, they are just trying their best to survive on the very harsh planet.

Those things don't count, they don't matter. Anakin murdered super powered white male children. This is awful.

Yoda to Anakin: that person you love who you legit had a premonition about them dying? F*ck 'em, let them go. Indeed I did sense you were emotional from the start, but this is my advice. It's full proof. Let it goooo. I'm gonna be god damned shocked if you can't let your loved ones die. I'm 900 years old, so I know what I'm talking about. Shit isn't about to get real.

Narrator: And shit proceeded to get real.

Glad George kept Yoda his same mentally handicapped self for the pt.
