😂
Hey, all I'm saying is this: Before Boba got his stuff in the EU, he was the tool that got dumped in to the sarlaac by a blind Han Solo.
Ahsoka Tano at the start of the CW was ****ing reviled.
Hell, even go outside of Star Wars. How many comics characters have started off being hated by the fanbase, only to find their niche later.
I don't like Disney. I don't like the new trilogy. But I would like to see if anyone could turn the Rose hate train around. Call it morbid curiosity.
Only way to fix Rose is to reveal that she is a shapeshifter/Clawdite like Zam Wessel in AOTC. And that the look we know her by isn't how she normally looks. She can shift to different appearances.
She could get a short mini series 4 to 6 episodes with a new actress.
Plot is that she had to ditch her old look because the remnants of the Empire are aware of how she normally looks so she has to adopt a new look for survival. She cannot go back to her old look because she would be hunted and killed by bounty hunters.
She decides to adopt the look of her deceased sister that was also a shapeshifter.
Rose is fixed 👆
No other way would work.
Just like Jar Jar
Spoiler:
being a Sith would have fixed that character some what.

Well what is the difference between Jar Jar and Rose? Both were heavily disliked, both were sidelined afterwards. I can't figure out why you'd want a show for Rose but not Jar Jar. Is it cuz of his annoying ass voice? Cuz I did toss out Holdo's name too. Maybe a prequel, where she really hones her shitty strategic decision making skills?
It'd be one thing if you liked Rose while admitting plot wise there wasn't much for her to do here and then said you'd like her to have a show, but you called her shit. Why does she have potential, but not poor Jar Jar?
Oh and it's being claimed Rose was sidelined cuz Carrie Fisher died. Fisher was supposed to have a bigger role and they wanted to keep one of the "heroes" around to have scenes with her from their base, etc. Fisher died before the scenes could be filmed, leading to less stuff for Rose to do and thus less Rose.
I'm certainly not saying there is a silver lining here...certainly not! That would be wrong. Though I mean...I will say, if we made a list of positive and negative things that happened cuz Carrie Fisher died I know which one I'd place "Less Rose Tico" under.
I was just reporting what some involved with the movie are saying. I think they are lying to us with bits of truth. I think it's probably true that they did plan a bigger role with Rose and Leia and thus it would also be true that Carries death impacted that.
However, they could have pretty easily worked in a different role for her if they were *really* motivated lol(Carrie Fisher died a year before the last jedi was even released). For example, think of...I forget the characters name, but he played a hobbit in Lord of the Rings. They could have gotten rid of his character and given Rose all his lines and nothing would have changed. It wouldn't have vastly increased her role, but it would have been something. And they could have expanded upon the relationship between Rose and Finn. They wisely chose not to do so. If somehow this did all come down to Carrie Fisher dying, seems she gave us one last gift then.
As for Ahsoka, she wasn't pure awfulness. She was also more important than Rose. Anakin didn't take many apprentices, she was his only one. Rose was one of billions who lost family to the first order.

1) Perhaps some truth to it but its still an excuse not to use her. What happened to her love story with Finn? Its blatantly obvious they Jar Jard her.
2) She was panned in TCW movie. But yeah, she was way too important creation to sideline. She Had to work for TCW to work.

That just sounds like you hate the actress. Is there a reason we should?

The short answer is that I think you can do far more with someone like Rose than you can with Jar Jar. And the morbid curiosity thing, as I don't even dislike Jar Jar that much anyway.

Million reasons.
She is awkward as f*ck... playing a sidekick to Finn, who should've never been included in this trilogy in the first place...
Don't care what she looks like on ig (I realize some heavily altered photosessions by pros made her look good) --- in TLJ, she's a gecko-level abomination that makes you vomit, wastes our time with SHITTY pointless filler scenes and acts retarded.
^ Everyone at the theater got cancer at the same time, ffs.
I love how that fat piece of shit almost got herself, Finn and the Resistance killed, but she still believed she did the right thing 😂
Finn was good for two things. Comic relief scenes shared with BB-8 and homoerotic ones with Poe.
He should've sacrificed himself in TFA, his scenes in TLJ and TROS were awful.
